Lucys Death

"Lucy how could you! You're so weak!" Natsu roared at Lucy. "I-I'm sorry!.." She said, shaking her head as tears fell. "I THOUGHT I COULD SAVE HER!" She screamed. Lisanna, who could no longer walk from a monster attack, wasn't enjoying where this was going. Lucy saved Natsu first, since she thought Natsu looked more hurt. She didn't make it in time to save Lisanna (I don't hate her, I just hate the ship) "Natsu, stop! It wasn't her fault!" Lisanna screamed. "Yes it was!" Natsu snapped. "Natsu I order you to stop!" Erza commanded. Natsu ignored her as if she hadn't said a word. He looked at Lucy, his eyes red with furry. "You.. It's all your fault.. Lisanna will never walk again, because of YOU!" Natsu stepped closer to her. Lucy was just shaking her head as tears fell uncontrollably. "I'm sorry.." She kept muttering. "Sorry can't bring back what happened. Sorry can't make her walk again. SORRY CANT BRING BACK THE WRONG YOU HAVE DONE!" Natsu yelled at the top of his lungs. He kept walking closer to her, while she stood her ground shaking her head; trying to stop the tears. "Fire.." He began as he tilted back slightly, "Dragons Roar!" He finished throwing his head forward, sending a blast of fire her way. She didn't have time to dodge it. She was thrown back into the wall. "LUCY!" Everyone yelled in unison. Natsu just stood there, regretting nothing. Levy came up to him her hair shadowing her eyes. She raised her hand and let it fly down, slapping him across his face. She used so much force, that everything became quiet, all you could hear was everyone's breathing. "How.. Could you!" Levy yelled. Natsu looked at her wide eyed, as if he didn't know what happened. "YOU KILLED HER!" She snapped/screamed. "I-I killed her..?" Natsu mumbled looking at Levy. "You're best friend.. The girl YOU brought into Fairy Tail. YOU killed HER!" Levy was screaming, ready to hit Natsu. Gajeel picked her up as she kicked and punched the air, sobbing. Natsu fell onto his knees, unable to believe what he had done. "She loved you..." Mira whispered. Natsus eyes widened. She loved me He thought.

The next day at her funeral everyone spoke. "Lu-Chan.. You were the best person I ever knew. I have your novel at my house. I'll read it over and over again, thinking about you, even if it isn't completed. I'll come and read to your grave everyday! I-I miss you Lu-Chan.." Levy said between sobs. "Lucy, you are an amazing team mate. I feel like you are closer to me than a teammate, much for as a sister. I will miss your kind words, and your kind heart. Team Natsu will never be the same without you." Erza stated. "Hey Lucy.. I-I don't really know what to say.. I never thought this day would ever come really. I miss you little sis.." Gray said. Everyone spoke, even Carla. Finally it was Natsus turn to speak. "Hey Luce.. How are you? I'm sorry for killing you.. I didn't know what I was doing. I just got so mad and then, I lost it. I want you to come back.. I feel alone for the first time since I met you. I found out that you loved me, maybe not anymore. But, I love you," he started. "I made a stupid mistake. I don't know what came over me.. I want you back Luce.. Don't leave me like Igneel did, please.." Natsu fell onto his knees, sobbing as he placed his hand on her tombstone. "I wish you weren't dead. I wish I wasn't the one who caused this, knowing that it's my fault that your gone is horrible! My heart breaks every time I think of you, of your smile and laugh.. I love you too Luce, I really do." He smiled softly. "I wish you were here, so we'd grow up and have 33 babies!" He said trying to humor himself. "I'll come see you everyday, and tell you about our adventures! I promise Luce! Cause I love you." And he did just that. Everyday after Levy would leave, he'd spend the rest of the day with her. Telling her about they're adventures, the things happening in the guild, everything he could think of. Every now and then he would add in "I love you." He'd eat at her grave. Lucy was always there, only he couldn't see her. "I miss you Lucy. Nothing's the same anymore. I wanna see you again.." Natsu said standing up. "Well, night Luce!" He tried to grin, but it only turned out to be a frown. "Bye.." He muttered.

He laid down in his hammock. "Not as comfortable as Lucy's bed.." Natsu whispered to himself. He closed his eyes, falling into a deep sleep. He awoke to find himself in a yellow field. "Hi Natsu!" His eyes widen as he heard, and smelled, someone familiar. "L-Lucy.." He whispered softly. "Natsu, I came to see you. Please I don't want you to be sad anymore, I'm okay. I'm watching over you and the guild." She smiled. "Lucy.. I miss you.. How can I act so normal? I'm the one that killed you!" He said crying softly. "Please Natsu, I will always be beside you, I love you." She kissed him gently. It felt real, like it wasn't a dream. Maybe it wasn't? He thought. "Bye Natsu, have a wonderful life." She smiled disappearing. Natsu awoke inside his small bedroom. He smiled. "Bye Lucy.."
