It was dark and silent.

I mentally checked myself for any siring pain.

“Is everyone okay?” I asked.

“I’m good.” Jet said.

“We’re okay.” One of the dracs said.

“I'm okay.” Kobra said.

The only one that didn’t answer was Ghoul.

“There should be a backup light should come soon, but we are almost to the top.” The drac said.

I felt around for Ghoul’s chair. Instead my hands came in contact with something wet.

Fear gripped my chest as I thought of the possiblity that is was Ghoul.

My breathing came at in short breaths as I started to hypovenilate.

The lights come on.

The panic flaring as I saw Ghoul slumped over in his chair.

I scrambled to my feet and rushed to his chair.

I kneeled in front of his chair as I checked over his body for any signs of blood.

The painc subsideing when I couldn't find any.

My gaze following the bloody trail. It ended at one of the care taker dracs.

We soon came to a stop at the surface, and we all got out. “What about these two?” Kobra asked.

“We leave them, but without communication.” I said.

“What? You can't just leave us out here. Please take me with you. I don’t want to live like this anymore. I want to be like you.” The drac that has been helping the whole time said.

“You’re a draculoid and we can't trust you.”

“But you can. I’ve been willing helping the whole time. I could have contacted the city and I still can. But I won’t. I want to fight because, what they are doing to other people isn’t fair. They lied to me, to everyone. They made me believe there was nothing to worry about. They took everything from me. I don’t even know my name. Please let me come with you and fight.”

I was torn. He deserves the chance to fight just as any of us do. But he is still a draculoid. Can we trust him? Should we trust him?
