Chapter 1 Luna's pov I was scrolling through Instagram when my friend lily called me. "Hello?" She didn't answer for awhile. "Omg luna you will not believe what we are gonna do tomorrow!!" I pulled the phone away from my ear until she was done screaming " what do you mean "we" last time I checked I didn't agree to anything. She groaned through the phone.
"Pleaseeeeee" geez this girl just loves to blow my eardrums out. "Ok fine" the line was silent then the line went dead. Did she just hang up on me? Oh well I went back on my phone to check what's on YouTube.
~time skip~
I checked the time it was 2:00 am damn I better go to bed. I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth because I forgot to last night. I went over to my bed and crawled in and went to sleep.
I woke up to my alarm clock blaring ughh where is it. I finally found my alarm clock and shut it off. I went to my closet to see what I wanted to wear today.

~time skip to when they're meeting~
We are waiting at some startbucks for I don't know who because lily won't tell me. As we're waiting I seen omg COLBY BROCK!?!? omg omg omg he's coming in here ok act natural. Wait why is he coming over here? When he reached our table lily got up and hugged him well that's weird.
"Colby this is Luna, Luna this is Colby!" Oh gosh I feel like I'm gonna be sick. "Uh hi!" He smiled at me and now I'm dead. Sam sat by lily wait that means Colby has to sit by me?!? Colby sat down by me and I felt like I was gonna have a panic attack. I pulled my phone out and pretended like I was texting somebody so I didn't have to talk to him.
"Luna" lily said giving me a look telling me to get off my phone. "So Luna how old are you" shit now I have to talk to him just don't panic. "I'm 21, what about you?" I asked even though I already know how old he is. "I'm 22" he smiled at me. I was about to say something until lily shouted "i am to!" The rest of the time there was just lily and Colby talking. Once we left lily dropped me off at home, even though I get scared because i live by myself.
I opened Instagram and seen that Colby posted! Shit now I can't like his stuff because he knows who I am, I think? I was bored until lily called! "Hey lils!" I've asked lily to move in with me before but she said no. "Hey, guess who just called me! Its probably gonna be Colby. "Who?" Please don't be Colby. "Colby did and he said that tomorrow there having a pool party!" Bleh. "So your gonna go?"
"Duh and so are you!" Shit! "You really need to start asking me instead of just assuming I won't to go!" We both started to laugh. "So are you in?" I can never say no to my best friend. "Yeah sounds fun!" She hung up again! Tomorrow should be fun.
~the next day~
Luna's pov I cant find a swimsuit to wear to the pool party! I finally found the perfect one!

When we got there lily went straight over to Colby. Why does she always get the boys and I'm always just getting hurt? It sucks watching your best friend flirt with the boy you like. I went over to the pool and sat down with my feet in the water. It's to late to tell lily I like Colby and plus I don't won't to hurt my best friend.
Sam sat down next to me "Hey you ok?" I couldn't tell him the truth so I just lied. "Yeah I'm fine" I gave him a little smile then he walked back over to Colby and lily? It's like I'm not even here why did she invite me if she's just gonna hang out with colby? That's it I'm leaving. I got out of the pool and started walking to the back door. "Hey Luna where you going? Wow She finally acknowledge my existence! "I'm going home I don't feel good" she just nodded and went back to talking. Wow what a good friend.
I know I might be being selfish but I've liked Colby for 4 years, I know it's not her fault because I never told her but it still hurts.
