Lately I've been hanging out with Jake and everyone else because Lily is still in Texas visiting her family. my phone buzzed in my hand, I seen it was a text from Colby!!
Colbs: hey are you coming over today?
Luna: if that's okay with you guys
Colbs: you're welcomed here anytime cutie!
Luna: okay then I'm on my way!
I put my shoes on and grab my car keys until my phone started ringing. "Hello?" "Hey it's Lily!" "Hey lily, what's up?" "Well I'm coming home today!" "I thought you weren't gonna come home until next week?" "I decided to come home early because I miss you and Colby!" I totally forgot they have a thing together! Wait that means whatever's happening between me and Colby has to end, fuck. "Do you need me to pick you up from the airport?" "Yes! And after you pick me up Colby invited us over for a cookout!" I really don't want to go but I guess I don't have a choice. "Okay just text me when you land!" We said our goodbyes and hung up. I called Colby just to tell him I wasn't coming over right now. "Hey Colbs!" "Why'd you call me." He sounds annoyed for some reason. "I was just calling to let you know that I won't be coming over until it's time for the cookout" "That's the only reason why you called?" I should probably tell him that this has to end. "One more thing, whatever is happening between us has to end." He laughed "I was only flirting with you because I was bored so it was nothing special" my heart immediately dropped. " I-I have to go" my voice cracked and I hung up. I called lily back, she answered right away. "Hey, what's up?" "Can you have Colby pick you up I'm not feeling good" "Of course I can, stay home and rest I'll just tell the guys you don't feel good so you didn't come." I was looking forward to seeing Jake but I don't think I could handle seeing Colby. " okay text me later"

I've just been laying in bed all day eating a lot of junk food. I can't believe it meant nothing to him. Why can't he like me? Am I that ugly? Maybe I should just move on from him. But why is it so hard to? Once I arrived I went inside and as soon as I walked in the house jake came running up to me and hugged me. "Hey jake!" He hugged me tighter. "I've missed you sooooo much" I laughed "it's only been a couple of days" he pulls away. "See that's way too long" he said walking away. I sat in the living room with everyone. They were all taking and laughing but it's hard to have a good time when I have to see Colby all over lily. I guess I zoned out for awhile because everyone was calling my name. I looked up at everyone "sorry I guess I zoned out" I said. Sam looked at me weird "are you okay?" What I wanted to say was 'no I'm not okay. It's hard enough to be here and have to fake my happiness while everyone is having a good time' But I didn't say that. "I'm fine" I said and put on a fake smile, at least I know what I'm good at.
"Luna! Hellooooo!" I snapped out of my daydream. "Sorry" I just need to try to be happy. "Princess, are you sure you're okay? You've been out of it all day" I looked at jake and smiled. "Of course I'm okay bubba" he came up and hugged me. "You can always talk to me!" I couldn't help but smile, I know me and jake are just friends but I've always thought he was cute. Wait no that's weird Luna he's your friend. At least he's better than bitch ass Colby.
