Chapter 3

(Lucas POV)

Me: Listen, it was a mistake ok and I never told no one but I'm in love with Diamond.

They all literally choked on air and let out laughs like I was joking or something, so I just looked at the with my serious face to wait for them to catch on.

Dario: Wait you guys I think he's serious.

Me: Man duhh, I would never through around the "L" word if I didn't mean it.

Meech: How long.

Me: 6th grade. 😁😳

Lo: Niggah that was six years ago.

All I could do was look down because I know I was ganna get a whole speech of them saying, why don't you tell us we would've never picked on her and som shit, but before they could speak the nurse came out.

Nurse: Family of Ms. Diamond Jackson

As soon as she said that my face lit up and we all jogged over to her.

Nurse: Well we checked over Ms. Jackson and she will be alright. She just has to stay here for a couple of day because on to major concision she has.

Me: Can we see her.

Lo: We??

Zay: Yes we, we gotta be in there wit Lucas so he don't break down a pass out in front of the love of his life.

Zay was right I don't think I would be able to see her all hooked up to this machines and not break down in tears.

Nurse: Only close family can see her.

Me: Well I'm her boyfriend and these three are her brothers.

I regret lying to to the nurse but I needed them in there with me

The nurse flashed me a warm smile.

Nurse: Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know follow me.

We all followed her to the end of the hall and she told us that Diamond was in there.

I was hella nervous of what I might see and what she might do when she seen the 5 people that she thinks hate her the most in her hospital room.

I lifted my shaky hand to the door nob.

I opened the door and seen Diamond laying there hooked up to a bunch of machines and she was staring at the ceiling.

I instantly broke out in tears. I guess my crying was loud because Diamond's head instantly snapped to the door where we were.

(Diamond's POV)

I was laying in my hospital bed looking at the ceiling thinking about what happen in my house.

I was in deep thought until I heard the door open. I didn't bother to look cuz I thought it was just a nurse, but then I heard crying.

I looked over and seen Lucas, Dario, Isaiah, Angelo and Demetrius.

Me: Wha- what are you guys doing here?!?

Isaiah: we here to see u.

Me: Isaiah why would y'all be here y'all hate me.
