I lean down over the handlebars of my bike. Gary and Joss are discussing the meaning of life, and Heather is talking about the new girl.
"I heard she's a bit of a nerd, but that's okay, because it shows we're inclusive" she chats. Yeah, real inclusive. If we really were inclusive, we'd stop bullying disabled people. Well, they'd stop bullying disabled people, and I'd start talking to my brother at school. We drive over a small bridge, and I look at the deep water underneath me. It's so dark, and probably ice cold.
Once we arrive at Joss' house, I'm talking to Heather about the new guy that joined our school recently.
"He's pretty hot" Heather says. "Don't you think?"
"I've got a boyfriend Heather" I giggle. She giggles as well.
"But he's not heeeere..."
"Alright" I say. "I like his eyes".
"I know right! They're so dreamy!"
Heather goes off on a rant about the new guy, while we walk into the living room.Joss walks over to a cabinet, and grabs a rectangular box. It's for the Nintendo wii.
"Dude" Gary says, when he sees what's on it. "That game isn't new, it's from, like... 2001".
"2010 actually" Joss corrects him, hitting Gary on the head with the box.
"And it's a load of fun, believe me".
"Where did you even get it?" Heather asks.
"The dark web" Joss shrugs. Heather spits her chips out.
"Joss!"
"Calm down Heather" I laugh. "He's not serious".
"Aren't I?" he asks, wiggling his eyebrows.I grab the box from him.
"Sonic&Sega all stars racing..." I read aloud. I open the box, and put the disk in the drive, while Gary turns the TV on.
"Heather, get the controllers" he demands. Heather scoffs, but gets up and picks the four white controllers up.
We start by playing a race. The graphics seem like they would come out of a game out of 2006, but we manage to play pretty smoothly.
"Let's do something else" Joss whines, and he quits a race.
"Dude!" Gary yells. "I was in first place!"
"You'll always be in first place in my heart. Now stop nagging" Joss bites back.
"You just quit because you were in last place!" Heather says.
"No, you were" I say. She frowns.
"No, the green one was" she says.
"You are the green one".
"Oh".We decide to do a few minigames, until we land on an option called: "King of the hill". It's basically just that you should try to be the only one in a certain circle. At first, it's fairly weird, but soon enough, we're yelling at each other.
"HOW IS THAT A POWER UP? IT'S A F*CKING HORN. YOU CAN'T KNOCK SOMEONE OUT BY HONKING!" Gary yells aggressively.
"Apparently you can" I say, grinning evilly. I shoot a few bullets at Joss and Heather. I'm winning.Suddenly, I get shot, and my car falls off the bridge, out of the zone.
"OH NO YOU DIDN'T" I yell. Heather laughs.
"Wait, I did it right? Oh! Haha! I'm winning!"
Surprisingly enough, she's right. At the end, Heather is in first place. We all sigh in defeat."Well, that was fun" Joss says, kicking us out of his house. "See you tomorrow".
I smile, and wave. I don't hate my friends, only whenever Colten is around.
"Bye" Gary says.
"No goodbye kiss?"
"I'll kiss your ass".
"Please do".
Gary narrows his eyes, and walks away. Joss chuckles, shakes his head, and dissapears back inside.ШШШ
