He was the sun.
Who burnt so bright,
Lit up the days
And
Warmed the nights.
She wished one day to shine so brightly.Yet,
She was the moon
Who couldn't burn bright
For she only shone in the dark of night
As a pale reflection.
Of His light. He wished one day to go unseen
Yet,
She didn't know
Though he shone so bright
He hid broken tears within the light
And longed one day to see the night. And,
He didn't know
Though her light brightened the night
She struggled, fought and hoped
to be seen as her own right. For
He shone alone
She had the stars.Edited - 20-1-2020: Changed the perspectives. Hope this has a deeper meaning now. Please comment on which one you liked better. The original or the new. If you didn't get a chance to read the original then just comment on how you like the new version.
