[Finley McCall]
You know those days that you have nothing to do, just sitting in your room reading a book or watching a movie? Just relaxed, not having a worry in the world.
Yeah, I don't know them either.
I also had zero clues on how I ended up walking on the side of the road with Scott and Stiles, on our way to a party. I always had hated parties, especially parties with drunk people. They always got so all up in your personal space, trying to seduce you as they were basically vomiting over your favorite dress.
I had been staring at the ground a bit as I waited for us to arrive at the house when a voice all of a sudden made me look up.
"What?" Stiles had all of a sudden asked, causing both Scott and I to look over at him. Scott glanced at me and gave me a small shrug at my questioning gaze.
"Wha- what do you mean 'what'?" I asked looking back at Stiles, his gaze slowly turning to me. "I mean 'what'. You both know what." He had quickly replied and again Scott and I looked at each other with questionable looks.
Then Scott talked again. " 'what' what?" He asked making Stiles sigh a bit. "Those looks both of you were giving." He said looking ahead of him again.
I then scoffed. "Maybe he gave a look but I certainly didn't" Had been my reply which made Scott glare at me for a small second. "I didn't give a look" Liar. He always gives a look at almost everything, Especially when he said he didn't.
"There was a distinct look, Scott," Stiles said, clearly annoyed at the boy next to him."What look?" Scott asked, also definitely annoyed.
"That look that says that the last thing you feel like doing right now is going to a party" Stiles argued, meanwhile making a weird hand movement. "Well, it's basically the last thing I feel like doing so" I then stated, causing Stiles to give me his 'Are-you-kidding-me' look.
"It's not that. It just seems a little weird going to a different high school's party" Scott replied to him, shrugging a bit as he glanced at Stiles, me again silently walking behind them.
"What? would you...Oh, my god, one drink, alright! You'll be fine" Stiles Stated trying to convince Scott. "I went to nursery school with this girl, okay? She promised to introduce us to all of her friends. So tonight, no Allison, no Lydia. Tonight we're moving on!" Stiles said, ending his speech. But Scott had probably only heard half of it as he stared at his phone again.
He had then quickly put it back in his pocket again, glancing back at Stiles. "You're right." He then said. "That's right he's right," I said, smiling a bit as it earned me a high five from the taller boy.
"Moving on" Scott breathed out. "Onward and upward" Stiles excitedly replied. "Let's do this!" I had also excitedly said.
"That's what I'm talking about! now look at me" "Okay"
After those words, they had ended up in some weird handshake as they walked to the door of what I assumed was the house. Scott then sighed. "how does my breath smell?" He asked. "I'm not smelling your breath," Stiles replied and Scott turned to me.
"Nah ah, big boy" I muttered as we got closer to the door. "Do you have any gum?" He then asked, clearly nervous for the 'moving on' part of this whole thing.
"No. No gum. You're fine." Stiles said before Scott shot out another question. "Can you at least tell me what kind of party it is?" "A birthday party, okay" He muttered before going inside.
Here we go.
[Third person]
Immediately as the three teenagers entered the house, a girl came up to him. "Stiles! hi." The blonde shouted from across the room. The three looked at her as she walked over, the liquid in her red plastic cup bouncing around as she walked.
"Hey" Stiles had almost immediately replied, probably happy to see his old friend again. "There's the birthday girl-" Before he could finish the sentence she had attached her lips to his. Surprise washed over the teen just like some sense of jealousy washed over Finley.
She had no idea why she was jealous, he was just a friend. He was her brothers best friend, those things would be weird. It felt weird to even think about falling in love with him, but for some reason, it didn't feel wrong. Scott had his mouth wide open as he stared at the two in confusion.
"So glad that you made it!" The girl, who now both Finley and Scott had assumed to be Heather, told Stiles after she took her lips off of his. "Me, too" The spastic boy happily replied as a smile started to make its way onto his face.
"Come downstairs with me and help me pick out a bottle of wine." Heather then said, not to seducing but everyone knew what she meant. Pang. another shot of jealousy went through the brown haired girl on the left as she watched them. "Yes," Stiles had replied quickly, as he turned his head around to look at Scott and Finley for a second. He then turned around again and quickly went into the basement.
"well, he meant it when he said he was moving on" Finley muttered as she watched the two of them leave. Scott could only smirk proudly at the accomplishment of his best friend. The smirk had then turned into a wide smile as he walked over to one of Heather's friends. "Hey," He said, confidence flowing through him like a waterfall, something his sister knew wouldn't last all too long.
The darker colored girl looked him up and down before turning around, not daring to even say a word. Scott's face retorted, once again, into confusion. Finley chuckled and patted her brother on the shoulder, before walking past him. She hadn't noticed Scott's phone buzzing as she was to busy with trying to find the kitchen.
Only minutes after that she had found the liquor and poured it in a cup, she took one a small sip as she walked back into the living room, immediately being pulled outside, causing her to drop the cup full of vodka on the stone right outside the house. "Seriously, Scott" She muttered already knowing it was her brother. Scott had ignored his sister as she kept pulling her until he got to the two teenage girls that had just arrived.
When he stopped walking Finley had pulled her arm out of his grip and looked up to see Allison and Lydia in front of him. "This isn't the talk we were gonna have, is it?" Scott asked as he looked specifically at Allison.
The brunette just shook her head. "I need to show you something," She said as she pulled up her sleeve, a weirdly shaped bruise on her forearm.
And this is why I hate leaving the house.
