When he reached the testing center Kai got off his bike and headed inside. The testing hall was huge there were 5 standing duel tables on each side of the room and a desk at the far side of the room for people to check in. Kai when toward the desk and gave his name. The attendant had a blank look on his face the whole time. Not one of boredom or one of having to redo a tedious task over and over again but one of emptiness as though he was asleep. If it wasn’t for the fact that he pointed Kai to a duel field Kai would have believed that he was asleep. But Kai still went to the duel field without saying anything else to the attendant. When Kai reaches the training room his eyes widened. There people in the room but they were all laid out on the floor except for one skinny scary pale guy with a White Jacket and a Blue duel disk. He seemed to notice that someone new came in because he turn his head slowly toward Kai. The man had a wide Grin on his face and he opened his mouth and a surprisingly high pitched voice said.
“You! Duel me!”
Kai had no idea what was going on but he thought that maybe this was a test to show his dueling skills. So Kai nodded his head. What the pale man did next amazed Kai. He pointed his hand at one of the sleeping duelist. His duel disk Detached from his limp wrist and it flew toward Kai who caught it. Kai with a puzzled look puts on the duel disk and placed his own deck inside the disk. Both of them raised their duel disk up to their chest and took the top five cards and said simultaneously.

The man took the first turn.
“Draw” He said as he took a card from the top of his deck. “I will play Clear cube in attack mode on the field and activate Clear world.”
A clear cube with a small robot inside appeared in front of the man with 0ATK/0DEF and A giant Crystal appeared in the middle of the field.
“I play one face down and end my turn.” The Man said.
“My turn, Draw.” Kai said drawing a card. “I play Gem-Armadillo in attack mode and thanks to his ability I can add a Gem-Knight to my hand.”
Kai pulls out his deck and takes a Gem-Knight Sapphire out of his deck and adds it to his hand.
“Now I will set a card face-down and end my turn.” Kai said.
“Draw,” The man said adding a card to his hand making it a total of four cards in his hand. “I activate my Clear Vicious Knight special effect if your opponent controls a monster; you can Normal Summons this card with 1 Tribute, so I will send my Clear cube to the graveyard to normal summon my Clear Vicious Knight in attack mode.”
Clear Vicious Knight with 2300ATK/1100DEF appeared in front of the man.
“I will attack with Clear Vicious Knight, Destroy Gem-Armadillo!” the man declared. “And thanks to his effect he gains 1700ATK since he is the only monster on the field!”
“I activate my face down, Compulsory evacuation device. Send Clear Vicious Knight back to your hand.” Kai said.
“Very well…I end my turn.”The man said as he added his monster back to his hand.

“My turn…Draw!” Kai said as he drew a card. “I activate Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy your Clear World.”
The Crystal in between the two duelist shatters.
“Now I will summon Gem-Knight Alexandrite in attack mode.” He said as his Gem-Knight with 1800ATK/1200DEF materialized in front of him. “Now I will activate Gem Fusion so I will combine Gem-Knight Sapphire and the Gem-Knight Garnet from my hand to make-!
Kai began to say something. It wasn’t something he would usually say but for some reason his lips and body moved on their own.
“Come!! My Knight heed thy call, Honor thy promise. COME and protect your king Gem-Knight Amethyst!!!”
A knight in purple armor with an Amethyst shield and sword appear on the field with 1950ATK/2450DEF. Now Kai’s hand was empty but so was his opponent’s field. “Go everyone Gem-assault.”
The Man grunted as he took a whooping 5450 damage.
“Turn end” Kai said ending his turn
