Once Kai got home he felt his eyes get heavy. He moved to his bed as quickly as he could and let his face fall onto the pillow. Once again Kai found himself in the blank canvas world. This time a human-like figure covered in a black robe that was the same size as Kai was standing in front of Kai with a duel disk on his wrist. Kai attempted to raise his arm believing that he had a duel disk on but surprised to find that there was nothing on his wrist. Kai looked up from his glasses and saw a man in white with a duel disk facing off against the man in black.
The man in white looked exactly the same as Kai. The man had the same brown eyes and the same messy black hair. The only difference was that the man had no glasses on. Kai then found that the scenery had changed. Instead of being a white canvas filled with nothing it was now a desolate city that was cloaked with rumble of former buildings. The Man in white held up his white duel disk and said
“This is where we finish it ____.”
An explosion came from the right side of where Kai was watching so Kai had no idea what the man had said and the smoke from the explosion had cause Kai to lose sight of the duel. But once Kai got his hearing and his sight back he saw only two cards. One card was covered in a veil of light. The other one was burning in a black flame. Kai reached out with one of his hands then woke up in his bed with a single card in his hand.
“what just happened?”
A week later Kai was currently staring at his deck. Somehow his deck changed back to its original form before it was filled with gem-knights
“I wonder why that happened,” Kai said recollecting the entire dream and the duel he had with the pale man. “Hmmm… How was I able to use that deck so well…”
“Kai come down here there is something for you!!!”Kai’s mom said.
Kai as usual moved as fast as he could down the stairs wondering what it could be. When he got down to where the package was he checks the sender.
“It’s from duel academy.” Kai said as he ripped open the cardboard box. Inside the cardboard box were a blue uniform and a letter of acceptance. Kai began to read the letter in it said.
CONGRADULATIONS DUELIST
YOU HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED INTO DUEL ACADEMY
AND DUE TO YOUR TEST SCORES YOU HAVE BEEN PLACED INTO OBELISK BLUE
Kai was shocked. He thought that he wasn’t able to take the test but apparently he was wrong. The letter said that he would depart for the academy in a week. So Kai ran up to his room and began working on his deck while he packed.
