Chapter 20: A Couple Weeks Later

One morning Vanessa went to use the bathroom and thought about how she was supposed to be getting her Period soon so she went back into their room and checked her Period Tracker on her phone and it said,"Your next period is in 2 days" but she had been feeling off for the past couple of days. She got dressed and went out and bought a pregnancy test and came back home and Jordan was there in the living room and turned around to look at her when she walked back into the apartment.

"Hi Babe, I missed you. Where did you go?" Jordan asked.

"I had to run an errand." Vanessa told him.

"Oh Okay. Do you want something to eat?" Jordan inquired.

"Sure, Some Eggs would be great." Vanessa said.

Vanessa walked into the bathroom and locked the door so that he wouldn't come in while she was doing the test. She wanted to surprise him that's if she even was pregnant. She did the test and set it down on a paper towel on the sink and began to wait for the results which was 2 pink lines if pregnant and none if not pregnant. 5 minutes went by and the box said if nothing shows within 5 minutes then you're not pregnant. The stick was starting to turn pink with 2 lines on it and Vanessa's eyes went wide and she wasn't quite sure about how to tell Jordan this news. Jordan knocked on the bathroom door.

"Hey Ness, You alright in there? I made your breakfast and it's going to get cold." He said to her through the door.

"Yeah, I'm coming out now hun." She said to him and she gathered up the test and went out to the living room table to eat. She set the test down and made sure that it wasn't showing at all. She began to scarf down her eggs and drink her orange juice that he had poured for her which was welcomed now that she knew she was pregnant. She finished eating and put the dishes in the sink and went to sit down by Jordan with the test in her hand on the couch.

"Babe, I have some news to tell you.. Well.. to show you really." Vanessa said as she unwrapped the pregnancy test.

Jordan looked at it and at Vanessa and back to the pregnancy test and his eyes went wide and his mouth opened to match his eyes.

"OH MY GOD NESS! DOES THIS MEAN WHAT I THINK IT MEANS??" Jordan exclaimed.

"I'm going to have to make an appointment with the doctor this week but for now.. Yes it does mean what you think it means." Vanessa said.

"I can't believe that we're are going to have a baby." Jordan said still smiling.

Later on that week...

"Vanessa, Your test results came back and you are 100% Pregnant. Congratulations!" The Doctor said to her.

After the Doctor said that she prescribed pre-natal vitamins and told her the dos and don'ts of Pregnancy and then she was on her way to pick up her prescription and then she headed home to the apartment and there stood not only Jordan but the rest of the New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys too and also Mia. Vanessa didn't expect such a crowd when she walked in from her doctors appointment.

"Hi guys." Vanessa said.

"Well, We want to know.. Are you pregnant or not?" Mia asked her.

"In the bag is my Pre-Natal Vitamins so that is a YES I am Pregnant!" Vanessa said.

There was hugs and kisses on the cheek and also a kiss on the lips from Jordan when she was handed to him. They were all so happy for them that they even had a table set up with snacks and food for a little celebration party for them.
