14 - Keep on talking

Madeline, Zara and Camila were running until they stopped. Zara looked at Madeline and then said:
"We can't run forever"
"I believe there isn't forever. People just get tired on running and they call it 'infinite'" Madeline said smiling.
"Fine let's go"
After 4 hours of walking they got in a big city... named New York. It was 1 AM and a lot of weirdos and odd people were walking near them or with them. When the girls arrived in front of a small restaurant they got in there.
"Why would you keep a restaurant open up until 3AM?" Camila asked herself.
When the girls got in the restaurant, they sited near the window on the couch. A nice boy went and got their order.
"Camila you never told us what happened"
"Leave me alone Zara" Camila said while looking outside the window at the drunk people. "Uh, this city is very-"
"messy? Yea we get that a lot!" They boy smiled.
"So why are you open at this time?" Madeline asked.
"Why are such pretty girls alone in this big city?" Asked the other boy.
"Come on Ashton, stop questioning people everytime"
"I was just being sassy Luke. Stop being so serious!"
"Do you have a room or something?" Said Zara sleepy.
"Um... well we're a restaurant, not a hotel, and I doubt you would find a hotel on this part of the city" Said Luke.
"Thanks...Shouldn't you just close or something?" Zara asked.
"Well-"
"No,we are good" Luke gave Ashton a killer look.
"You're lying..." Camila said looking through the window.
"Um..I-"
"You should've close at 2AM, but you didn't...be-"
"Okay stop it Camila! We probably should go! Thank you for your kindness!" Madeline said, as she Zara put her hand on Camilas mouth to make her shut, Mads also saw the boys terrified looks on their face.
"Where does she knew that?" Ashton asked.
"She-..." started Zara, looking at Madeline for help. "We should go.."
"We can come with you... anyway we need to close" Luke said.

~a few minutes later ~
The girls and boys were walking down the street talking about... everything actually. Until a man bumped into Zara, than a woman screamed.
"That's my bag! Someone catch him!"
Camila took the sharpest object she could find and throw it at the man who was running. He fell down to the ground. The woman got her bag and gave Camila a shocked look and the ran away. The boys looked shocked at the girls and especially at Camila.
"We should go...Shall we?" Madeline said looking at Camila.
"Sure..." Ashton said looking at Luke.
Madeline looked anxious at Zara as they leaved Camila in the back with the boys.
"So um... you know karate?" Luke asked, Camila, laughing.
"Sort of" Camila said looking down.
"Sort of!? That was amazing!" Ashton said.
Camila smiles looking at them and then said:
"Where is the normal side of this city?"
"Well um... a bit far way. I don't think you would make it at 1AM"
"Where are we going anyway?" Madeline asked bossy as the stopped in front of an apartment.
"Here" Ashton said. "Um here lives Luke's aunt , she wont mind"
The girls looked at each other and then Camila said whatever. The apartment was nice. Very modern and colorful with a lot of pictures on the walls. It was kind cozy and cute.
"LUKKKKKEEE IS THAT YOU HONEY!?" shouted an lady who just came dressed in a pair of jeans and a yellow tee. She wasn't old! No way! She was around 36-40! But lookin' good!
"Aren't you sure she's his girlfriend or sister?" Camila whispered to Ashton.
"Nah"
"So I see you brought some girls home.."
"Well if you-"
"Don't worry honey, you girls can't stay for tonight. Oh Luke you look terrible!"
"I should go" Ashton said.
"Ashton lives on the next apartment, next to me and aunt May." Luke said.
After a couple of minutes as Madeline explained to May why are 3 beautiful girls walking alone on the streets alone in the middle of the night, and then May asked the girls if the want to eat something or drink.
Before the could go to their rooms Camila looked at a picture with two beautiful people standing next to each other with a little boy.
"That's my sister and Luke's mom..." May started talking "He's parents got into an accident 5 years ago..."
"I'm sorry" Camila said noticing May's tears.
"You should get to bed, you are ... probably very tired"
"Yea..."
