Chapter 3

*Ring Ring*

At last!! Unleash me from this hell. A smile spread across my face and I quickly jumped up and grabbed my books.

"Excuse me Miss Ford did you have my permission to leave?" Mr Henman said.

I looked up at him and give him my best 'are you serious' look.

He smirked at me and placed his hands on his hips.

I slammed my books back down onto the desk and slouched back into the seat again. Does he have to take us every week? I will ask Josh later on, he's always in detention.

"Now you two will be here again on Saturday morning, 8 O'clock. Miss Ford I don't care if you have cheer practice, YOUR COMING!" He shouted the end bit. I was looking forward to practise this week there's a match and we will be at it. Well the rest of the team will obviously I won't.

"Sir, there's a match that day that I have to go to" I forgot about Jaden. Obviously he would have to go to the match to since he is the quarterback in the team. I will throw a complete fit if he is allowed to go and I'm not. I looked over at him and he looked pretty desperate to go. I looked back at the grey turd again. He still had that smirk on his ugly face. He's going to say no. "Yes Jaden, I will allow you to go to the rugby match" What!! No way is that fair! My jaw dropped open and my eyes widened. "If you do detention for another month and clean out the toilets" I burst out laughing. The toilets in this school are disgusting, nobody cleans them anymore, not even the cleaners and another month of this hell!! I don't no how I will survive this month never mind 2 months.

"There is no need for that!" Mr Henman again shouted.

I stopped laughing straight away in case he made me clean the toilets. I wander which one he will choose, he did seem pretty desperate to go. I looked over to Jaden again to see his reaction. He was sitting up straight with his hands in his hair with a look of pure disgust on his face. Awww I feel slightly sorry for him, this was one of the biggest matches in the year. He must have been looking forward to it. He pulled his hands out of his hair and slouched back into his seat again. "As much as I would love to clean the toilets, I don't think I will" His voice was low and sad, with his accent he sounded dead cute.

"I didn't think so" replayed Mr Henman but I didn't look at him, I was still looking at Jaden. He turned around and looked at me. He looked really upset and a little scared. Is he scared the coach might kick him out of the team because he's not going? No Jadens to good a player to get kicked out. I wander...?

I just realised I was still staring at him and I quickly swung my head around to look at the teacher again. I'm getting worse. Ok, I think I should have just stayed looking at Jaden way better site.

"Now Saturday, at 8 O'clock, here, be on time!" His voice was demanding and he was glaring between me and Jaden. Just let us leave already.

"Put your books in your bags and stand up" He ordered again

I'm not in kinder garden. I did as he said, throwing my books in my bag, not really caring if I ripped them and stood up.

"At last my legs are no longer crippled" I heard Jaden mummer from my left.

Again I nearly went into a complete laughing fit but I kept it as small smile because Mr Henmans glare was still directed at me.

"Now push your chairs in" He said it like he was talking to five year olds.

I huffed and shoved my chair forward under the desk.

"Gently now Zoe the chair has feelings" I raised an eyebrow, Sure it does what ever you say.
