"The hero journals are familiar, I think I've met someone with journals like that. Wait a minute, did they have the Q&A questions I did for that one kid?" Present Mic thought as he walked home. He tried to remember and as he flopped onto his couch he realized that Izuku might be the same kid as the one that had called him years ago.

Flashback Time to Little Izuku (around elementary, maybe going into middle)

"Hey listener, sorry but the show is over," I told the person on the receiving end of the phone after picking up.

"I-I know! I...just wanted to ask you a few things," the voice stuttered out. The person seemed young from what I could tell. "I like heroes and I try to learn more, and I finally got the courage to call."

"How could I say no to that!" I laughed out, settling down into a seat, ready to answer any questions. The owner of the voice seemed like a nice fanboy and had a good reason to call after hours.

"Thank you so much Present Mic!" the boy cheered, before spitting out a question. He waited for me to answer, and once he got one he asked another question. It was funny how enthusiastic the kid was.

"Do you think someone with no quirk can be a hero? I'm asking for a friend!" the kid said after a good amount of questions. He took his time before asking and seemed nervous before he tried to cover it up. I thought for a bit before coming up with an answer.

"It really depends! If the quirkless person has good motives and is determined they could possibly become one with a lot of hard work. My friend, you may have heard of him since you seem like a fanboy, Eraserhead, doesn't have a battle-based quirk, but he is still a great hero. He may not be quirkless but he can put up a great fight. His advantage is that he can stop quirks, but I think with the right circumstances a quirkless person can become a hero," I answered after a while. He seemed to perk up at my response, as I could hear what I assumed were happy-tears as his voice wavered.

"Thank you, so much Present Mic. This made my day," the boy said before hanging up. I help onto his words, glad that I could help him. I hoped I'll see him again, as a hero. I remember why he was asking questions, he told me they were for his analysis journals. I thought that was cool.

Flashback Over

"I still think it's cool," I say to myself, smiling at the memory. I kinda hope that Midoriya is that same kid from a couple years ago. It would be really cool, seeing him go to where I assume is his dream school. With that thought in mind, I drifted to sleep.

Extra Info~
The day that Izuku called Present Mic was one of his bad days. His mom wasn't home and wasn't going to be until the next evening and his bullies decided to hurt him pretty badly, physically and emotionally. He was feeling pretty useless but decided to call the voice hero, looking for any form of comfort. Izuku found comfort in heroes, so he did the one thing that he wanted to do for a while now; call Present Mic. That night, after the call, Izuku cried himself happily to sleep.
