Midoriya
It was currently Saturday morning and Midoriya was planning on using that to his advantage. He let himself sleep till well past 9:00. You may think that that's still considered early for a weekend but for a boy who regularly get up before the sun rises to train, this was a treat.
Unfortunately his classmates just couldn't allow that. Midoriya was jolted awake from a deep sleep by distant laughing and shouting.
He groaned and sat up in his bed, rubbing his eyes as a yawn took over his mouth. Although Midoriya was a little annoyed by the rude awaken, he was strangely energised, his mind alert and his body ready to start the day fresh. The leg that he had hurt a few days ago while fighting Etsu had fully recovered on Friday so he was eager to move around.
Midoriya jumped out of bed, stumbling a bit as his body struggled to catch up with his mind. He quickly changed into his usual 'T-shirt' shirt and a pair of sweatpants, running a hand through his mess of hair before making his way downstairs, following the ever growing volume of the laughs and cheers.
Once he reached the common room he was greeted by about half of the class shouting like maniacs, all circled around the the couches and TV. The circle was so tight Midoriya could barely see what was going on inside. He scanned the backs of his classmates until his eyes landed on a familiar brunette. He tapped her shoulder and she whipped her head around to find Midoriya.
"Deku!" She cheered and gave him a crushing hug which he gladly returned. Once Uraraka released him he decided to find out what made him wake up in the first place.
"Oh you can see that for yourself." Uraraka giggled, a convenient cheer erupting from the group as she dragged him into the circle.
After a little bit of struggling, Midoriya was able to squeeze himself a space in the small ring between Uraraka and Ashido and was finally able to see what was making everyone so excited.
On the couch that sat directly in front the TV was Kaminari and Todoroki, both holding game controllers in their hands, though Todoroki was sitting with the controller snug on his lap while Kaminari has his stretched out as close to the TV as possible, as if being closer would help him win. They were playing some sort of 2 player fight game.
All of a sudden one of the little characters flipped and punched the other right out of the screen a giant 'K.O." taking over. The ring of students erupted into and shouting. Kaminari slammed the controller onto his lap and groaned, bowing his head in defeat while Todoroki just sat there, though the slightest twitch of his upper lip and the way a sat a tad bit straighter let Izuku know he was feeling a little smug.
'Since when did Todoroki play video games?'
"Tokoyami you owe me 500 yen!" Uraraka shouted from beside Midoriya, causing him to flinch away. (500 yen is the equivilant to around 5 US dollars)
"How long have you been here for?" He asked, his ear still ringing.
Uraraka shrugged as Tokoyami handed her the notes. "A good half hour or so. I came downstairs to get some tea when Kaminari challenged Todoroki to a game, they've been playing ever since."
Sero leaned forwards against the back of the couch and pat his hand on the blond's head. "Dude, just give up now, you've already lost 2 to 5. It's time to give up your crown!"
Mina bounced beside Midoriya while chanting "Give up the crown!" She was able to create a small chant from the ring. Midoriya was incredibly confused.
