NOTE: Rose and Lissa DO NOT have a bond in this fanfic!!! They are just super close, like sisters.

Rose

This is the worst thing that could possibly happen to me. First, Lissa and I get whisked back to the Academy, and now I was being sent halfway across the world with a complete stranger.

How could they separate us?

Lissa was a bawling mess when I left on the plane, which made my insides melt into gush. But I stayed strong on the outside, for her.

And who is this Dimitri Belikov, anyway? I had a short talk with Mason before I boarded the plane, and he called him an 'antisocial god.' Whatever that means. I could see his biceps bulging out from his tight shirt, and he was unusually tall. He had a good foot on me. His dark brown hair was bound at the base of his neck. He was exceptionally good looking, but he had hardly said two sentences since we left St. Vladimir's.

Once we arrived back at the school after Belikov captured us, Kirova was eager to inform me of my punishment. I was being sent St. Basil's School for the Especially Challenged. I had never heard of it before. It was in a tiny town called Sporav in Russia.

We were halfway through the whole day drive to Sporav, which was out in the middle of absolute nowhere.

"So why have I never heard of this school?" I asked, trying to make conversation.

He cleared this throat before speaking. "St. Basil's School for the Especially Challenged is hardly considered a school. The Moroi send people there when they don't know what to do with them. I was informed there are currently 5 students, three dhampirs and two moroi. You now make six."

I nodded. "How long until we get there?"

"Around 8 hours."

I let the conversation drop there. I didn't gave anything to occupy myself, so I stared out the window at the passing scenery.

We had been on the road for a few days now. We flew on a plane from the Academy to Moscow, then took a two- day train to Omsk where we got a car, and now we were 4 hours in our 12 hour drive to Sporav.

With nothing else to do, I leaned my head against the headrest and fell asleep.

"Rose. Rose, wake up."

I jumped awake to the feeling of someone shaking my shoulder. "Wha- what is it?"

"There is a bad storm coming through. We are at a motel to wait it out." Belikov said briskly before exiting the vehicle. I watched him walk in the main entrance and up to a desk.

I rubbed my eyes with my knuckles and unbuckled. I stepped out of the car and lifted my arms above my head to stretch my stiff muscles. I opened the door to the backseat and grabbed a change of clothes from my suitcase. I swung my backpack over my shoulder and took my time walking inside.

Guardian Belikov was speaking with the man behind the counter in, what I assume is, russian. He didn't look very friendly. Belikov spent a few more moments talking to him before he was handed two keys. I then followed him back outside and he grabbed a bag from the car before we walked down the side of the building to a door.

Once inside, I walked to one of the two beds and set my bag down. The room was very unimpressive. The light occassionally flickered, the lamp on the wall looked like it was about to fall off, and the beds looked like they hadn't been washed in a very long time. I didn't even want to see the bathroom.
