Shadow-Dancer: Return of an Old Foe | #Wattys2019 Nomination

Q&A Video

(A/N: This is just a filler chapter that takes place before the meeting.)

As soon as I get home, I realize that I still need to record my video for the day. See, Jack usually records his videos in the morning, while I record after lunch. I'm taking all of my high school classes online.

"Ooh! We should do a Q&A video!" Ob suggests.

"Good idea," I reply. I see Ob materialize next to me.

Ob's POV

"Hey, all you lovely shadows! I'm (Y/n)!" (Y/n) says.

"And I'm Obsidian!" I say.

"And we're ShadowDancer," we say at the same time.

"Anyways, thank you for tuning into our Q&A. So, how this is going to work is I will read some of your questions and Ob will answer them," she explains.

"Right."

"Okay, so first question. 'What made you pick your channel name?'" (Y/n) reads.

"Good question. You see, most demons who haven't met us refer to us as the Shadow-dancer, so it actually fits perfectly for our channel, seeing as how we're running it cooperatively," I answer.

"'What is your favorite childhood memory?'"

"So, when we were 4, (Y/n) had a really bad nightmare. I remember helping her get through it. Heck, I even sang lullabies to her."

"'Have you ever done an air guitar whenever you've danced?'" The question makes both of us laugh so hard we almost fall out of our seats.

As soon as I regain my composure, I look at (Y/n) and say, "We so need to do that the next time we dance." She nods her head in agreement.

"'I heard a rumor that, while you aren't dating, you've been getting along quite well with Anti. Is this true?'"

"Okay. First off, yes, we get along very well. Second, we are not dating. And it's not because I'm more into girls. You see, because our hosts, Jack and (Y/n), are related, that makes us related as well."

"'What is your favorite holiday?'"

"For me, it's Halloween. For (Y/n), it's Christmas."

"'When did you first have to use self-defense?'"

"Well, back in third grade, a kid in our class found out about what we can do. Naturally, I began to be very wary of him. One day, he secretly brought a knife to school and, in gym class, he went straight for us, knife in hand. Our teacher ran off to go get the authorities. I realized very quickly that he intended to take (Y/n)'s life. I ended up taking control of our body and managed to hold him off until the police arrived to take him away."

"Unfortunately, that is all the time we have for this video," (Y/n) begins our outro.

"As always, don't be afraid to embrace the shadows and like this video. Also, while you're at it, why not subscribe and hit the notification bell so that you won't miss a single update? See you guys later." I end the recording and send it to Robin for editing and uploading.
