The brain
Makes up 2% of your body weight
86 billion nerve cells
23 watts of power when awake
And I ought to believe
That a poets brain
Is way more immense
That what is actually held
Millions of worlds and story's
Characters and sonnets
It's a machine that keeps us awake
It resonates with scraps of books and madness
It overthinks plenty
And endures every second a new question
What a brain the artists held
For that is where everything starts
Before being brought to life-strangers
