WOW...

It's been a while hasn't it....? I just wanted to chat for a little bit.

Cutting right to the chase.

#1
Should I do a face reveal...? I'm a tad worried about my identity being revealed, and I have a feeling that there are kids from my high school who will stalk me if I show my face. But at least nobody but family knows my real name, so I SHOULD be okay right?

Please let me know if it's a safe thing to do, and if you want a face reveal.

#2 (The really important one)

So, my sis really enjoyed the book and she and several others suggested that I make a sequel, or at least brought up that they liked the idea.

I'm going to be honest, I don't really know what to do...

Good stuff...😆
I really have zero regrets about how this story turned out, in fact it's the story I'm the most proud of, and I really enjoyed writing it. Granted there was an issue with writers block and stuff which I'll get to in a moment...

I also know you guys loved this story, I loved reading your comments, and how you reacted to the chapters. That was one of the things I loved most, every time I posted an important chapter (like chapter 8 😏) the thing I looked forward to the most was reading your comments.

I love when I can interact with my readers like that, and I'd love to experience it again. This is going to sound SO cheesy, but this story was really special for me, and it'll always hold a special spot in my writing heart.

Yikes I am so cheesy...

Bad stuff...
First off, writers block, and pressure. I felt with writers block quite a few times when I wrote this...  and I felt a lot of pressure to get the next chapter out. If I were to write a sequel, I'd have to be ready for the pressure and inevitable writers block. It's not entirely your fault. I usually see the update comments and put pressure on myself. So don't feel bad.

Second, sequels, are hard to do right, but I did find a YouTube channel where  he laid out four criteria to meet to make a good sequel,

1- Expand the universe in meaningful ways.

2- Continuing the story in a new compelling way.

3- Introduce new compelling themes, or build off of the old ones.

4- Leave an undeniable impact on the overall story.

I know a couple ways to meet at least one or two of those, but I need your help for some ideas, if you want a sequel at all. But, the sequel will be about the kids as well as their parents. But the focus will be split in half.

I need you guys to help me figure out how to make a good sequel. Because part of the problem is, I feel like I'm a different writer now. And I feel like it'll prevent me from making a sequel that hit you guys the same way the original story did, so, I would really appreciate some suggestions.

That's all I have

Comment whether or not you're down for a sequel, and if you have any ideas please feel free to share them with me.

Also comment about the face reveal, is it safe? Do you want to see my face?

If I get some ideas I feel conflicted about, I could make a vote, while also giving credit to the ones who came up with it.

Credit to Schaffrillas Productions for the sequel criteria. I would recommend checking him out, but I can't guarantee that all of you will like him. So don't get mad at either of us.

That's all, hope to talk again soon!
