To good to be true

As soon as the last bell rang I ran through the forest at my highest speed my wolf howling with happiness Bella's fur was pure white except for the black star the alined her forehead symbolising just how special she was we ran for hours not even breaking a sweat.

I stopped at the pond only to hear a twig snap right behind me making Bella growl at them in wearing Suddenly we could hear bones sifting and cracking as a deep playful voice said

"Shift !" When he saw that I wouldn't  he gave us a hesitant " Please ?"

I shifted back to my human form wearing the same clothes I was earlier

I Turned around only to be face to face with Victor but why hadn't I sensed him he's my mate I should have been able too  but I didn't ,I didn't smell that heavenly smell he just smelled like any other wolf

hmm something not right Bella said

"yes? " I asked victor

" well I thought maybe youd want to go out on a date ? maybe for pizza at the movies ?" he asked nervously ,why is he nervous can't he feel it too ? can't he feel that the sparks aren't there ?

" I'll be there at 7:00 " was the only thing I said before shifting back and quickly running home.

I took a shower and got dressed I wore I black shirt that said cute but crazy in bright blue and some black skinny jeans 

I looked in the mirror and I looked good I decided to let my straight hair lose it reached all the way to my waist I wore some black vans and I was done .

I checked the time and it was 6:30 just enough time to get there as I ran to the movies I couldn't help but feel a little mad all day I was being picked on but victor just stood there doing absolutely nothing with I look of content on his face every time I got punched in the stomach. I have never been able to hate someone not even my tormentors but slowly and very slowly I began to hate Victor and if its one thing that nobody wants its to be my number one enemy. When I finally reached the movies it was 6:40 I had ten minutes to do what ever I wanted  you see my parents owned this movie theater and sense it was only one around for miles it was very popular .

"Jay sweetie what are you doing here ? and alone at that ?"    Mr Romero ,a sweet man around his 30s asked me

I blushed a little against my will

" Well um I'm here on a date Mr Romero I finally found my mate " I said giving him a small smile .

Next thing I know he's hugging me so tight I couldn't breath but I didn't mind  you see Mr Romero was like an uncle to me .

But when he released me I caught sight of something I wish I hadn't seen I felt like crying I felt like falling down to my knees and curling up in a ball  there right in front of me was Victor and Megan sucking each others throats out I hadn't realized it but a single tear ran down my cheek making Mr Romero wipe it with his thumb.

" what's wrong Linda ?" he asked he always uses my second name when he knows I'm sad I took a deep breath and said

" Behind you was my date but now I can see he isn't very much mine " confused at what I said he turned around to see victor and Megan  his face began to scowl in anger .

Mr Romero was my fathers beta which is why I consider him my uncle he was also very protective of me  he was about to go  over there and probably punch victors face in but I held him back

" No , its not worth it uncle " I told him with a small smile "why don't I help u around today ? I really don't want any confrontations "

He sighed greatly and reluctantly nodded

" okay princess ,but I promise you he won't be stepping foot here ever again "

reluctantly I nodded I knew he would ban him and even though I was dieing inside I didn't show it I couldn't .

As I was cleaning the counter near the cash register Victor and Megan 

came up  I don't think either one recognised me because I had my head down

" Hi I'd like a large popcorn , Two large drinks and two tickets to see the new movie please " Victor said while taking out his wallet but before I could respond Mr Romero came up behind me

" I'm sorry but you'll have to save your money my niece and I will not be helping you today or anyday for that matter because you are now banded from this movie theater " that's when I decided to show them who I was making victor reel back in shock

" J...J..Jay ?! " he asked shocked aligning every feature of his face

" Yes ?I believe that's my name. now you heard my uncle leave or you will be escorted out " I said with finality in my voice victors face became red and filled with anger and ... hurt ? why would he be hurt and with that he left pulling Megan along with him

Mr Romero pulled me into a hug as I said  over and over. ... " it was to good to be good "

" it'll be okay Linda you'll see " uncle said I just smiled up at him and said " I'm always okay uncle "
