(This part is kinda short. sorry.)

You and Alec were standing in front of the Dumort. Alec had told you how you were going in but something told you to go a different way. As if you had been here before. Alec was about to head off based on Izzy's instructions but you grabbed his hand to stop him.

"I-I have an idea but I think we need to seperate." Alec moved in front of you.

"No. No way. My job is to keep you safe, and to do that we need to stick together"

"I know" you bit your lip "But I need you to trust me Alec" you knew you were asking for a lot. He barely knew you and he was right it wasn't safe. He shook his head.
"It's not safe. What are you even going to do, anyways? The only way in is this way"

"I know... but I think it has something to do with my past. Please, Alec." maybe it was the way you said it or the way you were looking at him, you didn't know, for him it was because it was you. But after awhile of silence Alec let out a long sigh.

"Fine. But your not allowed to die."

You smiled before looking down and realizing that you were still holding his hand. He followed your gaze and you both pulled apart quickly. He cleared his throat "I'm gonna go". You watched him walk away before your feet led you in another direction. You didn't know where you were going so you pulled out the seraph dagger from before. While you mindlessly followed an invisible trail you came to a long thought about decision.

"Alright, come on Y/n, just do it. What have you got to lose" you told yourself. You took a deep breath and pulled out your phone before dialing a number you knew by heart.

Riiinnnggg.....

Rrriinnggggg......

Rrriiinnnggg............

"Hey, you've reached Luke. Leave a message and I promise I'll get back to you." Luke's voice flooded your ear. You waited for the beep before you started.

"H-hey Luke. I don't know what's happening. Hell, I don't even know if I can trust you. Mom told us to go to you but we saw you with Circle members. Clary's fine we're safe. Um, uh, things are upside down and I don't know what to do. Please, please, please, call me back when you get this and we'll meet someplace somehow." you ended the message and sighed. Was that really a smart decision?

"Focus Y/n. Simon needs you." your grip on the blade tightened.

Once you looked around you came to the conclusion that you were in a tunnel. Walls made of brittle earth and a ceiling of sand. You wondered if this was was being trapped in an hourglass was like. Expecting at any moment for the grains to come crashing down. It was extremely dim, the only light coming from your dagger and a faint blue glow from the moonstone pendant. You quickly and quietly made your way down the narrow passage. Once you reached what you guessed was the middle you noticed a stone staircase. Your instincts told you to go up so you did.

You had made it ¾ of the way up when you heard the clicking of heels. You quickly took a defensive position. The clicking grew louder until there was a women right in front of you. She had pale skin, long dark curls that fell perfectly into place, and eyes that were sinister and seductive. The dim light made her features even more chilling. When she saw you she narrowed her eyebrows.

"You" she seethed "Look I don't want trouble. We've had our disagreements but I still owe you so I'll let you pass"

You tilted your head "Do I know you?" this women seemed familiar but not in a good way. Suddenly a name floated to your head... Camille. Was that her name?

She raised an eyebrow and smiled "Does the darling wildflower not remember me? Such a shame. Here." she handed you a small card. It was plain white with cursive gold writing it read Camille Belcourt and underneath was a number.

"When you do remember give me call. We have so much to catch up on"

She moved to side and you shoved the card into your pocket. Save Simon now, deal with past later. You heard her chuckle darkly as you continued up the stairway.

You headed down a hallway when you heard a commotion up ahead. You started to run but got cut off by a Vamp. He bared his fangs and ran at you, you stepped to the side and threw your dagger at him. You hit him right between the shoulder blades. His body disintegrated.

"What the hell?" you said as you picked up the dagger. The noise got louder so you ran faster towards it hoping that you would find the others. You saw them in the hall in front of you, Jace pointed two fingers to the room in between you. You got the message and all walked in to see Simon with a knife to his throat.

"Simon!" Clary shouted running forward.

Jace caught her arm "That's not going to do any good".

"Listen to him, Clary Fairchild" the Vamp spoke up "I've had enough of your friend for one day. I'd love to cut his throat. Don't give me a reason."

Simon was trembling. You all put your weapons away.

"Simon, are you okay?" you asked him

"I mean I wouldn't say okay--"

"Stop talking!" the vampire said... Raphael you thought. That must be his name. But how do I know him?

"Now... if you would all just follow me" he said. He started backing up "Let's go!".

You all followed him until he made you all back down a hallway. Clary was threatening him while Jace held her back. He made you guys open the door and leave. When the sunlight came in he hid behind a pipe. Jace rushed everyone out.

Raphael shoved Simon forward "Go! Take him! Go!".

"I don't know how to thank you" Simon said

"Don't thank me. You mean nothing." he responded "This is about Valentine and the chaos he can bring."

"Y/n!" he shouted. You looked over your shoulder "Forgive your enemies, but never forget their names"

You just stared at him until Jace shoved you out the doorway.

"Simon!" you ran up and hugged him.

He chuckled "Guess we're even now" you smiled and looked at his scratch.

"Is that a cut?" you asked worriedly

"I'm fine" he said. Clary walked over and you backed away then walked to Izzy. You thought it would be best to give them a minute.

"You took a different way in?" Izzy asked. You simply nodded not knowing how to explain anything that had happened.

"Alec must really  like you." Izzy smirked. You turned slightly pink.

"W-what?"

"It's nothing" she put a hand on your shoulder. She pulled out her phone and liquid lipstick to reapply. You pulled out your phone and checked to see if Luke had called. He hadn't. You then pulled out the card Camille gave you. Should you throw it away? But what if you need it? But why would you need it? You argued with yourself a bit before adding her number to your contacts just in case. Apparently you weren't the only one arguing because you heard Jace yell something at Alec. Izzy turned and walked away. Clary stared at Jace. Simon and Jace at Clary. Izzy at herself. And Alec looked right at you, with you looking right back at him.
