The next morning, Yugo still hasn't gotten over it.

How do I know that?

I wake up and he's standing over me, looming like a raincloud about to strike me with lightning. He's glaring daggers at me, and his mouth is in a tight scowl.

I jump and nearly punch him. He blocks it and his glare gets more intense.

Quon left last night after dinner. Once he was gone, we sort of just did some yoga and went to bed. Now, I have an angry Yugo standing above my bed, glaring at me like I just killed his father.

"WHAT THE HELL, UKYO!?" he booms. For once his voice makes my heart speed up with fear.

"What are you talking about!?" I shriek.

"What was up with you yesterday!? You were just being Mr. Flirty over there with Quon!"

"He's my BOYFRIEND!"

"I KNOW YOU WERE JUST DOING IT TO PISS ME OFF!"

"YOU DESERVED IT!"

"OH, DID I!?"

"YES YOU DID!"

The fact that I just woke up isn't making this any better. This is the first thing I have to deal with this morning. That's just great. I'm leaving the dojo today.

My to-do list:

First: have an argument with Yugo.

Second: Find either Zac or Quon and complain about said argument.

"HOW DID I DESERVE IT!?" Yugo shouts.

"YOU WERE BEING A DICK!"

"HOW!? WHEN!? WHERE!?"

"IN THE WOODS, TRYING TO TELL ME TO BREAK UP WITH QUON AGAIN!"

"I'M JUST TRYING TO KEEP YOUR HEART FROM BREAKING!"

"IT! WON'T!"

"YOU DON'T KNOW THAT!"

I've had enough of this for one day. I stand up and proceed to get dressed. I don't even care that he's in the room. What's his problem lately? He's been rude. He's been annoying. He's been inconsiderate.

He's been a dick. There's no other way to put it.

I go downstairs. Xander is hanging swords on the wall. It's kind of strange. We don't usually display the swords unless someone important is coming to the dojo.

"What's going on?" Yugo asks.

"There's a new class coming this afternoon. I wanna make sure everything looks perfect," Xander answers. "We've gotta make a good impression on the newcomers. That's what makes them keep coming back."

Yugo stares. "You want it to be perfect?"

"Yup."

Yugo looks at me. "Ukyo better hide in the shadows, then."

I want to kill him.

Can I kill him?

I settle for a roundhouse kick instead. He flies backwards and lands on the ground. I cross my arms and glare at him. He glares back at me. He knows exactly why I just did that.

He does the same thing. His foot collides with my chest.

That's when I feel the most pain I've ever felt in my life.

That's when I remember the giant bruise on my chest that still hasn't completely healed.

"AUGH!" The wind is knocked out of me. My bruise aches, a lot. I glare at him. "I'm bruised on my chest! Remember?"
