I wake up the next morning to see that Quon is still sleeping. He's on his stomach, snoring a little. His mouth is hanging open. He's drooling a little bit. It's adorable. I try to get up. I quickly realize that I can't.

He's on me.

His arm is around me. He's half on me, half off. Either way, it's enough weight to the point where I can't free myself without waking him up. I don't want to wake him up. I want to let him sleep until he wakes up naturally. However, there's no way I can if I want to get up.

I shake him a little. "Quon, Quon..."

I hear him groan. He rolls off me. I gratefully sit upright, and look over at him. He's awake now, and looking at me. His eyes are droopy and his hair is a mess. He looks exhausted. I find it so cute. He sees me and smiles a very tired smile.

"Mornin' baby..." He rolls onto his back and stretches.

Did he just call me baby?

I start blushing, a lot. My entire face is probably bright red. I hide my face behind my hands. I hear him chuckling.

Quon sits up and stands up. I look over at him to see that he's grabbing the wall. "Woah, head rush." He chuckles and shakes his head. "Okay, that just made it worse."

I stand up, too. I stand right behind him. "Are you okay?"

"Gah!" He jumps and turns around. "Jeez, Ukyo. You scared me."

"Sorry." I smile at him.

He smiles back at me. "So, you want breakfast?"

I realize how hungry I am. My stomach hurts. "Yes."

"All right. Come on."

We head downstairs. Yugo is awake, and so is Xander. Xander is laughing about something. Quon's dog is jumping up and yipping at him. His laughter is so loud that it's freaking her out. Yugo is laughing, too, which only riles the dog up more.

Quon's dog sees her owner, and races over to him. She slides right into his legs, and frantically tries to get his attention.

"Oh, there's my little Quetziko!" Quon bends down and scratches her behind the ears. "The floor is still slippery! You've gotta be careful!"

I almost tell Quon that his dog can't understand him. Dogs don't speak human. But then I realize how cute it is, so I hold my tongue. I love when Quon talks all cutesy like that to his dog.

Quon then looks over at Xander and Yugo. "You guys hungry?"

"Starving," Xander answers. "What're you making us?"

"Come out here and tell me what you want. Nothing too fancy, though. I'm not a professional chef or anything."

"No, man, I was gonna tell you to cook me up some pufferfish," Yugo says. "Of course we know you can't cook that much."

Yugo and Xander head into the kitchen. I fall onto the couch and shut my eyes. I'm still tired. I don't know why. I slept completely fine.

Better than fine, actually. Quon was right next to me all night. I slept perfectly.

There's just something nice about sleeping with the love of your life right next to you.

Quon and I will be together forever. I'll always love him, at the very least. I have no plans on leaving him anytime soon. I'm happy. I think he's happy, too. That's all that matters.

"Breakfast is ready!" I hear him say from the kitchen.

I start to imagine that every morning. This should be an every morning thing. I get up and walk into the kitchen.
