There's a storm surging
In my chest
I feel Sparks of electricity
In my bones
I feel shards of raindrops
In my blood
I feel storm clouds
In my ribcage.
There's a storm surging
In my mind
I feel my thoughts racing so fast,
they've gone still
I hear my ideas forming,
Louder than thunder
I feel calm
Inside this soothing chaos
There's a storm surging
In my life
I feel my heart pounding
With each beat thundering
I feel my breath enter my lungs
And exhale each one with every shock I feel
I feel my blood pumping in my veins
And I feel it running through me, like rain runs down
my arms
There's a storm surging
In my chest,
And in my mind,
And in my life.
My thoughts,
My feelings,
My heart,
And my mind
Are a storm.
my skin is cool to the touch,
And my hands generate Sparks.
My mind is a danger to walk,
So I run through the fields.
I feel
Thunder booming in my chest.
I see
Lightning flash through my eyes.
And I reach out
To feel the rain rolling down my arms.
