Briana's POV

My head has been all over the place since the weekend. Kaleb was back in town but he was acting real different. It was weird how he was going out of town on business but wasn't taking Tredo with him. I knew it was more to the story but Dreon been taking my mind off of it foreal. I really gotta talk to Taylor because I feel like Im falling for him.

Taylor has been my bestfriend since 2nd grade so I just really pop up at her house whenever I feel like it. Her mom is like the mom I wish I had. She always welcomed me with open arms and she was so supportive and understanding of everything. Unlike my mom who I haven't saw since I left the hospital. I haven't spoken to her or my brother but Dreon ended up telling him that I was okay and safe and he also got my phone back from him.

I walked upstairs in Taylor's room to find her rolling up with some dude. We told each other everything so I was kind of shocked that I didn't know who this dude was.

"Damn bitches be fake as fuck. Who is this." I said in a playful tone

"B, you then seen this boy so many times. This my cousin"

"I don't remember but anyways I got dirt."

"I love you but you gotta go." Tay said to her cousin

After he left the room I got straight to the point.

"Okay so I think Kaleb cheating on me because he go out of town every weekend for business so he say but he never takes Tredo with him and when have he ever done business without him. Then on top of that I think im falling for my bestfriend. Like girl he just be giving me a whole different vibe I cant really explain it."

"So basically you cheating on Kaleb so you think he cheating on you. Guilty guilty guilty."

"No bitch im not cheating. . . kinda. I mean we did kiss on accident but he knows I have a dude and he respects that but its just something about him that I need in my life."

"You crazy as hell B. You in a sticky situation and you playing with fire because you know if Kaleb find out he gone kill you and him. Then Ima have to kill him for killing you." She said in a serious tone

"If Kaleb find out what about who?" Kaleb said standing in the door way of Taylor's room

"Boy how the fuck you get in my house." Taylor yelled

"Yo cousin one of my workers. Now why Ima kill you B? If i find out what?"

He was getting closer and closer with every word and I was terrified. I didn't know what to say because I wasn't sure how much he had actually heard. I was trying to think my way out of this because my life was literally on the line right now.

"Find out that I been following you and I know you ain't been going out of town." I said with a sly as smirk on my face.

"Excuse me Taylor could you step out the room so we could discuss this privately." Kaleb said to her. He never talked that proper before and I wasn't sure if it was because I caught him in a lie or because he caught me in one.

"You sure B?" He asked

"Yeah i'm positive nigga you think you slick but i know ever. . . . ."

I was stopped in my tracks by the palm of his hand connecting with my face. He smack the life out of me. I was so shocked I just stood there.

"So you just gone sit and lie to my face like i didn't just hear y'all whole conversation." he said while choking me the whole time.

I couldn't breathe let alone respond. I was scratching at his hands to get him off my neck. I tried punching, kicking and even biting him but nothing made his grip loosen.

"You really think you gone love another nigga. I will kill you and that nigga. You got me fucked up. I gave you the world bitch and you out her loving other niggas. Who is he huh?" He screamed in my face

I still couldnt respond which made him even more mad. At this point i'm confused cause nigga how the hell am I supposed to respond when I don't have access to my vocal cords. I started gasping for breath which finally made him let me go. I started coughing and panicking trying to catch my breath.

"Get yo shit Briana and lets go. You really got me fucked up."

I gathered my things and did as I was told. I knew now wasnt the time to fight back, but i would definitely get my revenge. He had me fucked up.
