"Ali, I still think it's a very bad idea. So terrible that I already have a clear picture of how it is going to end," Ray whined falling into step with me.

"I know Ray, but I need to do this. Not knowing anything is making me crazy. He is not going to stop and every time he goes there; I worry myself to death. Maybe seeing it with my eyes helps," I explained again.

"Whatever you say princess. However, he is going to kill us. Be prepared," he said.

I know Aaron is going to be very angry. He specially warned not to even think about coming to rings, but I couldn't help myself. He explained how everything works many times. Those explanations should be enough to curb fears of any sane person but for me, they didn't help the least bit. Maybe it's the fear of not knowing what actually happens there or may be its the fear caused because of knowing what happens there. I don't even know if this act of mine is going to make anything better or if it makes everything worse but all I know is, I need to try.

Finally stepping into an alley filled with heavily built men with tatted and pierced bodies, I realised the depth of situation I put us into.

Ray's arm wound around my waist pulling me closer to him. With our heads down, we silently moved towards our destination. According to Aaron's description, fighting rings were in the basement of building at the end of this lane.

"Ali, step behind me," Ray said pushing me behind him as more guys started approaching. There were several girls scattered around which meant it isn't as dangerous as it appears but still, the way all the guys keep staring started to creep me out.

The building which hosted fights was completely different from the atmosphere outside though. It resembled more of a corporate office than a illegal fighting ring. Glass rooms were present all around make it look even more sophisticated.

On reaching the basement, sweat started to drip down my back. The feeling of being watched kept growing inside me. Looks on faces of all these people didn't help my case either.

Everyone here has darkness blatantly displayed on their faces. Their smirks promised pain. Their eyes held thirst for blood. Aaron didn't belong here. My Aaron is nothing like these guys getting ready to fight. He may be rough, but his face never even a hint of darkness.

Suddenly, a hand grasped my arm halting my steps and making a scream erupt from my throat.

"Shh Muneca. It's me," Aaron's soft voice broke through my panicking mind, and I relaxed immediately. Taking me into his arms, he guided us into an empty cabin.

"Please say me it's not real Thea. Say me you aren't here," he said. His voice held a hint of anger and a lot of panic.

"Ron, she will feel better if she sees for herself that you are in safe hands," Ray came to my aid.

"The fuck she will Ray. What is wrong with you? How many times did I say you're not to be seen around here? Is this some kind of joke to you guys? What were you thinking bringing her to a place like this Ray?" He shouted.

"It wasn't his fault. I forced him to bring me here. I would have come even if he didn't. He didn't have a choice," I said in a small voice with my head bowed down.

Angry Aaron terrifies me, but I can't let Ray take the brunt of my mistake.Aaron took a deep calming breath before he spoke again.

"Thea, I don't want to shout at you. Please leave this place Muneca. It's not safe here. Please," he pleaded. I nodded my head an answer. I wanted to see it all but now after seeing all these people, I don't think I will be able to.
