"Saturn! Put that down! For fucks sake don't hit your siblings with that!" Valkyrie yelled as she walked into Gordon's mansion, only to see the complete and utter havoc happening inside the home.
Saturn, the eldest of the Pleasant-Cain managerie, was holding Valkyries old shock-stick and although that was okay on its own, she was also swinging it around like a complete and utter maniac.
"Sorry mum!" The eight year old said, putting the stick down and running off to find her siblings.
"Skulduggery?" A skeletal face appeared in the doorway, "yes dear?" "Where did you put Nova"
Her husband scratched behind his head, "um... technically I put her in her in the kitchen" Fury seemed to seep from Valkyries pores, "then where is she now?" "If I'm correct she's up the willow tree in the front garden." "And how, pray tell, did she get up there." He shrugged "Magic's started to kick in, I suppose." Valkyrie groaned, "Can you call Onyx?" "Sure thing dear" Skulduggery then proceeded to run out of the room. Valkyrie ended up feeding Saturn while she awaited Onyx's arrival. A few minutes had passed before there was a knock at the door. Valkyrie sat her youngest on the ground and opened the door for her friend.
Onyx looked quite sleep deprived. "Sorry I'm late, Sage and I have were checking over the adoption papers- we just want to make sure we've got everything ready" "And I'll gladly talk to you about that topic at a later date, perhaps over a cuppa" Valkyrie said, skilfully changing the topic before Onyx began ranting "Anyways, what's the reason Skul called, he said something about Nova being in a tree and him in the shit."
Val laughed, "yeah about that...."

Onyx had easily teleported up the tree, retrieving Nova without any hassle.
"Looks like you two have a natural born Teleporter on your hands" Onyx said as she appeared, back on the ground, still holding Nova, who, surprisingly, was not throwing up from all the sudden teleportation.
"Should we be worried about that?" Valkyrie enquired, Onyx shrugged, "Not really, however..you should be proud! There's not all too many natural born teleporters nowadays.... actually, on second thoughts, perhaps you should be just a little worried now. God help you once Nova hits teenage years though."
Valkyrie grimaced, teens were rebellious enough without possessing a natural ability to teleport.
All of a sudden a loud yell echoed from the bathroom,
"Goddamn it Skulduggery jr why can't you hold still while I put on the diaper?!"
Val shook her head, "Onyx can you take us inside please?" And with that all three were instantaneously transported to the family's living room, with a quick thanks to her friend, Valkyrie sat Nova on the ground, before she marched off to check on her husband, "Skulduggery, what did I say about calling the baby after yourself?" She growled through her teeth as she opened the bathroom door, only to find Skulduggery with their youngest child, still attempting to change the his diaper.
The skeleton hung his head, "you said that I wasn't allowed to."
"And did you still try to do it anyways?"
"... maybe"
She shook her head, "I thought we agreed on calling him Neptune?" Skulduggery let out an exaggerated sigh, "well yes, but I just don't enjoy the whole space theme as much as I used to.." "it's not like it matters, they'll all choose their new names when they're old enough." "I suppose" he replied, as he finally managed to get the diaper on his son, "oh who's a good kid.. you are, yes you are" he coddled as he walked away with the infant.
She shook her head and walked back into the lounge room with her husband.
Whilst they weren't looking, Nova and Saturn had pulled a frilly purple dress onto Xena- who was looking quite honestly disgusted with this outcome.
Their parents glanced at each other, joyous smiles on both of their faces

Even though their children were like feral animals sometimes, Valkyrie couldn't be happier. She had a great husband, and three adorable children. Darkquesse had never made another appearance and her depression had completely vanished.
In the end, everyone got their happy ending, even if they needed help along the way.

I hope you rats are satisfied.
It's short but I couldn't be bothered to write anything longer because I felt this wrapped up the story okay.
Looking back, I don't like this story, I don't like how it's written or how I kinda romanticised Val's depression.
But you dudes seem to like it, so that's what has kept me from deleting this.
Anyways,
Thanks for reading and I hope this satisfies all those asking for an update.
Xoxo
