Chapter 1- Meet the unexpected

I was busy preparing myself for school and it's 7:00 in the morning, my mom is not yet here probably she's at her business meeting at this time now.
Ewan ko ba Kung bakit nagpapaka busy si mom sa work nya since mayaman naman kami at sa sapat naman Yong kinikita ni dad sa Russian airborne.

Habang naglalakad na ako palabas nasalubong ko si mom naglalakad dala Yong bag nya at two buddy guards nya na nakasunod sa kanya. Lumapit sya sa akin at sinabi na.

Mom: Mabel we will have dinner with the Poklonskaya family later. *Sabi nya habang nakangiti saakin.*
*Napaisip ako*
Mabel: Can I just stay here later please and Do i really need to attend? *Tanong ko kay mom.*
Mom: Well it's up to you my daughter but I prefer you should come. If you change your mind just tell me, okay?" *Bineso ako ni mom at naglakad papasok sa bahay*

Naglakad na ako papunta sa kotse ko at nagdrive papuntang school. Nang makarating ako sa school agad akong pumunta sa office ni mom at kinuha Yong gamit ko. Pumunta muna ako sa locker ko at inilagay Yong ibang libro ko. Maaga pa naman kasi Ang oras ng klase eh mga 8 am pa Ang start. Nagtungo na ako sa classroom. Pagkapasok ko sa room eh nakita ko Wala pa si Madi Kaya naman napaisip ako.

Mabel: I wonder where is she? *Sabi ko sa sarili ko*
Umupo ako sa kinauupuan ko at natulog muna.
Habang nag aantay sa klase.

*Mean while sa house nila*

Nasa higaan palang ako at natutulog, nagising nalang ako sa sinag ng araw sa aking bintana. Napatingin ako sa aking orasan at nagulat dahil malelate na ako sa klase, dali-dali akong naghanda ng aking sarili at agad akong nagbihis. Hindi na ako nakapag almusal dahil nga sa malelate na ako. Kinuha ko Yong bag ko at nag commute ako papuntang school medyo Hindi traffic nong nag commute ako Kaya madali akong nakarating sa school pero late parin ako ng. 10 minutes sa klase Kaya agad akong. Pumunta sa locker ko at kinuha Yong mga libro ko at nag tungo sa classroom ko. Pagkapasok ko medyo napakalma ako kasi Wala pa Yong professor namin kaya, pumunta na ako sa upuan ako at inilapag Yong mga gamit ko sa ilalim ng upuan ko. Napatingin ako sa katabi ko, nakita ko tulog si Mabel.

Madi: Mabel, wake up. *Ginigising ko sya*

*Agad naman syang nagising, she rub her eyes at tumingin sa akin. *
Mabel: oh, you are here. Bakit ngayon kalang? *Tanong nya?*
*Tumingin ako sa kanya at ngumiti.*
Madi: Well I over slept that's why? *Nahihiya Kong Sabi sa kanya*
*Napailing nalang sya at ngumiti Rin saakin.*
Mabel: you are lucky kasi Wala pa si proof natin.
Madi: I'm glad that our proof is not yet here, ano Kaya nangyari at Wala pa sya?
Mabel: I bet she over sleep too. *Sinabi nya ng my halong biro sa mga sinabi nyang iyon*

We look at each other before bursting into laugh. I admit that being with Mabel is fun. It really lessen my sadness and pain in my life. I guess i could trust Mabel after all.

Being with Madi is fun, I was thinking if I could invite her someday into my house. I looked at her she's pretty and she has a good heart, I wonder why some of the people don't like her, specially Sara. Maybe Sara is just a pain in the ass in this school. I must talk to the head of the guidance counselor to deal with it but still I don't have proof for her bad behavior. Speaking of Sara I haven't seen her yet, panigurado late na naman yon.

*Mean while the class has started and our professor gave us pop quiz and all. After that it's break time*
I called Madi to hurry up cause I'm a bit hungry, I haven't eaten yet since last night.

Mabel: Madi hurry up, I'm hungry. *I said to her*
Madi: saglit Lang may inililigpit pa akong mga libro.
*All of a sudden one of her notes slipped out of her notebook*
I wonder what's in it? I was about to open the note but then kinuha ni Madi kaagad ito.

Madi: sorry , uhm baka nalaglag it sa notebook ko.

Ngumiti sya saakin at inilagay sa bag Yong iba pa nyang gamit.
Ngumiti naman ako pabalik say kanya at hinantay nalang syang matapos. Mga ilang minute ay natapos na sya. Kinuha na namin Yong baon namin at pumunta sa cafeteria.
Nakakapagod bakit Kaya walang anino ni Sara ngayon aba Ang tahimik, sabi ko sa sarili ko. I look at Madi and start to break the silence between us.

Mabel: Madi, can I ask you a question?
*She looked at me and smile.*
Madi: Sure, what is it?
Mabel: have you seen Sara today, cause I haven't seen her all day?
Madi: Maybe, she's up to something again, so mane if I were you don't get closer to her.

That's all the words that she could manage to say before walking towards the cafeteria. I just followed her and we eat in silence. It's really odd that Sara is not around. I hope she won't do something stupid that can ruined her and her family name.
After break time we headed back to our room, once Madi and I arrived we headed back to our sit and waited for our next subject.

I'm bored and our professor is not yet here, and all my classmates have there own business, and Mabel is reading something, I don't know what is written but It's looks like it's written in russian and I can't understand Russian language. While our professor is not yet here I ask Mabel to look after my project cause I need to go to the comfort room.

Madi: Mabel can you look after my project cause I need to go to the comfort room just for a minute.
*Mabel looked at me and said*

Mabel: Sure, but be quick okay? Our proof will be here soon. *She smiled at me and look at her book again*

I went out to go to the comfort room but before I could reach the comfort room someone grab my hand and when I look at the person who grab me, I saw Sara and with her two friends again.
She looked at me and smile evilly.

Sara: Look who's here? Where is your friend? Mabel is her name right?
*She tighten her grip to me and i tried to take it off her grip.*

Madi: sara, please let me go. I still need to go back to our class, if you don't want to go to class then go somewhere else.
*She laugh so as her friend.*

Sara: Remember, I'm still not done with you and its a good time for you to get my fun even more exciting.

Bago pa man nya ako masapak my humila sa kanya at pinatikman ng suntok sa mukha nya at napahiga naman si Sara sa sahig, as for her friends pinag tulungan sya, nong Makita ko Kung sino. It's a girl wearing a military uniform with blue Beret on her head and the side of her uniform is a patch of a Russian flag with Russian airborne logo.
I wonder Kung anong ginagawa ng isang Russian Airborne dito sa school eh asa pilipinas sya siguro my binibisita sya sa kamag anak ng Russian family dito or baka my activity ang Philippine military kasama Ang Russian military malapit dito sa school. She's pretty though, amputi nya like Mabel and she has a long brown hair.
The girl help me and ask me

Military girl: Are you okay?
*She ask me*

Madi: Yes, I'm okay. Thank you.

Tumingin ako Kung saan si Sara ngunit nawala nalang syang bigla. I look at the girl and it seems she's looking for something or someone. Tinanong ko sya Kung ano ginagawa nya dito at naka military uniform pa sya.

Madi: uhm, excuse me miss? Who are you? What are you doing here in our school ground and why are you in military uniform? A Russian uniform?

*She smiled to me and said.*

Military girl: Oh, I'm sorry. I'm Agafya and I'm looking for someone named Mabel Turgenev, the daughter of the owner of the school. I was here to pay her a visit since her father had an activity with the Philippine military just near here and I just want her to know that we are here.

I was shocked that Mabel's father work in the military. But this girl? What's her connection to Mabel? Maybe her sister? Or friend? I don't know.
