The place in which the story set on has two entirely different worlds. Human world where normal humans live in and an alternating world called spirit world inhabited mainly of spirit users.
In spirit users there are different kinds with different abilities. Their ablilties come from a dead spirit user, some even reside within the spirit user as a spirit.
Most of the spirit users live in human world blending in amongst the humans. Mostly some even live without being aware that they are spirit users.
SPIRIT USER TYPES
Most common type are vampires as you already know they love snacking on humans and mostly healthy blood. also sometimes they lose themselves to their spirits and often ends up doing contradictory stuff like killing loved ones this state is referred as wild.they have the ability of using a dark flame and teleportation.
Next is a type called mind readers.they are capable of doing stuff related to mental self like manipulate people and definitely capable of reading minds.Mind readers are often able to conceal themselves by using kind of a stealth.they can disguise as anyone by using illusions. They can transport by surfing in the wind ,a kind of flying.
Lumilias are healers and mages.they are able to heal with the help of light and also put up barriers such as dimensional barrier. Lumilias are known to be gentle and kind but some hybrid lumilias aren't so.They live in symphony.they kind of resembles fairies with their wings and light coloured clothings.
Werewolves are the second most common type.They don't really feed on flesh but still does consume some what of human blood.they are often hated by others specially vampires for being imposters.werewolves are kind of different from the rest because of a shunned past about them.they have quick reflexes and claw like nails and fangs to fight.
the second rarest type are Normas.they are known as an isolated part of world due to their reserved and egoistical traits.they carry a special blood in which a lot of spiritual energy resides.their blood is often targeted by vampires and werewolves.they able to manipulate their blood into any form they wish even solidify it. for a certain reason Normas who want to live in human world or end up living there becomes some part of underground organizations even though they really have nothing to do with humans.only about 50 Normas live and they live in arzanel.
the most rare one is fuma.they are a dark existence in the world of spirit users.it is said that they are born due to the negative feelings of humans and spirit users.most of the time a fuma appears once in a century but in rare cases they appear more than once in a century.so which means population of fumas is mostly one.fuma can come from any type of spirit user which means they can use their spirit type and fuma powers.fumas are hunted down by spirit users and even humans wary of their existence fearing that they will bring the end of the world although it's not really the case.fumas are said to have the ability of stopping time and space and even do things just by saying such as kill someone just by saying die. so no wonder they are feared by everyone.
IMPORTANT STUFF
curses are spells that restricts a person of doing something. a curse is activated at the first time the restricted act after putting the curse. a curse is written by some historic characters on the person of which the curse restricts.the more permanent it is the stronger the curse is. mostly a curse is placed by writing with blood on the body but carving is the strongest as the scars would still remain after healing.
gate is the ticket to the transportation between human world and spirit world although gate is just a word , meaning that by saying gate alone can transfer a spirit user.
there are two kinds of metals hated by spirit users but also used to make weapons. silver and gold tinted metal called celestal. silver is the metal all of you know about.celestal is kind of a liquid metal and most of the time can kill a spirit by injecting it.
