Rye sat on the cold floor shivering, his tears flooded himself and the freezing ground. Negativity ran across himself, negative thoughts. He felt so alone, his mother's exception was all he needed. His father had left the world and the poor boy and his mother several years ago, he unfortunately left a good family.
Thoughts of gliding the sharpener across his skin would relieve him but it wasn't the answer. A large banging sound ponded against the solid door of the schools stalls, feet were to be seen. The room fell silent as his breathing slowed, his heart still beating a million miles and his tears still streaming and staining his fluttered cheeks.
"Are you okay in there?" A soft, calm voice was to be heard. Rye didn't even think about it, he answered;
"y-yeah," He sobbed in-between accidentally, the boy hummed.
"Do you wanna open up? I'm not gonna hurt you," Rye was able to hear the boy's head fall against the door. He quietly lifted his heavy body upwards and unlocked the door to reveal the popular kid, Andrew Fowler with a huge smile but it quickly dropped when he saw Rye and the state he was in.
Andy wanted to help, he knew Rye would push away slightly but he wanted to try. The state the perfect boy was put in worried him too.
They starred at each other for a few seconds before Rye slid down the wall and berried his head in his lap. Andy then stoked his hair lightly which caused him to look up at him, his cheeks were red hot.
Andy smiled really widely which caused Rye to chuckle a little. "Come here, you're okay," He wrapped his arms around the boy before he started crying again. "Can I tell you something?" Rye rested his head against the now friend of his and closed his eyes. "Always," He drew shapes on his large hand.
"I'm gay, I'm so scared and a-ashamed," Rye spoke quietly and quickly - another tear fell.
"Hey, hey. You shouldn't be, whoever looks after you loves you too much to ever care or think different of you," Andy supported him.
"Come home with me tonight and help me explain?" He looked up at Andy pleadingly before he agreed that it would be okay to do so.
The two boys sat on the gross school floor for a lesson before agreeing to just going home. Rye's head was pounding - as was Andy's was beginning too, to. Andy's mother picked the pair up, Rye rested in Andy's small presence broken, and afraid.
Rye then hooked his hands with him, gripping hard. Visible sweat was clear tripping down his face. Andy hushed and calmed him, his soothing words were doing good to him.
Andy had been working out ways to say maybe he could 'play' a role of Andy's boyfriend to make it easy for his mother to understand better;
"Do you want me to like pretend to be your boyfriend?" He whispered and everyone in the car heard him laugh.
"Pretend?" He looked at Andy and just shook his head. He then lent into the boy's face and kissed him hard - they both blushed.
"That was easy then," Andy's mother looked back with the biggest smile spread across her face which was clearly contagious to the other boys. "I think this is yours?" She added, referring to his home - before the two boys walked out.
Andy noticed how much the boy was shaking, his breath was very unsteady. "Hey, Calm down." Andy held his hand and faced him.
"Whatever happens today, promise you'll stay with me?" Rye spoke and looked him to Andy, terrified. "Yes, I promise," he smiled.Before they got a chance to reach the door it swung open, their grips got tighter between their hands. "Rye! Hello dear," I gave Rye a tight hug but he didn't let go of Andy. "And you must be Rye's...?" She waited on a reply.
"Boyfriend," Andy spoke up, Rye cringed to the thought of rejection."Awe how cute! I'm so happy, now come in you two," she dragged the two boys into the crisp warm house. "You're not mad?" Rye questioned to his mother. "Why would I ever be mad? If anything you got the best looking chap in town!" She laughed before pouring the steaming water into the mugs.
Andy stroked his fingers across his boyfriends knuckles. They both let his mother continue the tea and went to sit down in the front room.
"Well done beautiful," Andy hugged Rye and ran his hands through his hair. "Thank you baby, for everything," Rye whispered before Andy cuddled his small body into him.
"I can't believe we were strangers like five hours ago," Rye laughed. "Well I guess I got they lucky for once ei," He added before drawing shaped and tickling his back slightly.
"and Ryan, i love you no matter what," she handed their teas to the boys just after they thanked her.
After tears and tea's were spilt the two boys decided to go upstairs. Rye pushed Andy against the bed and hovered over him.
"I love you baby," Rye said and kissed Andy for the first time.
