Long ago, back in 1941, there lived a great ruler named, Symi Anderson. But before she became ruler, she was just an ordinary child.
Symi wasn't very rich as a child. As a matter of fact, she was actually very poor. Her mother worked two jobs, just to pay for their living.
One day, she was playing outside, when her ball rolled in the nearby woods. She went to go get it, but was tripped by a peculiar-looking stump. She picked herself up and admired the oddity sitting before her.
She noticed a tombstone hidden in the bushes nearby. She pushed aside the covering leaves and read a message on the stone; 'Beware. Extraordinary things occur when picking up this cursed flower. Obey if you dare.' Then she noticed a glimmer in the corner of her eye.
Turning her head slightly to examine the mysterious object. Sitting in front was a blue, glimmering rose that wasn't there a moment ago. Curiosity got the best of her and she grabbed for the rose. Suddenly, a blue wind began to swirl around her. Frightened, she closed her eyes. After several minutes, she opened them and was shocked at her new surroundings.
Everywhere she looked, it was gray and bland. There were creatures of all sorts walking around; ogres, fairies, werewolves, and other weird beings. These things were anything but human. It was a different world completely!
There was a sign ahead that read, Blandville. All of the creatures she was seeing looked sad and gray. Eventually, one of them had noticed Symi and alerted the others. All of the creatures stopped and stared at the new lifeform standing in front of them.
"She must be here to protect us." whispered a voice.
"At last, our ruler has returned!" exclaimed another voice.
Quickly, she began to turn down their accusations.
"No! No! I don't know where I'm at. Wheres's home? Where's Mama? Please somebody help me. I'm quite scared. I just wanna go home.." stated Symi.
A baby fox-looking creature came up and introduced himself as a Dandess. He explained where she was at and told them about their enemy territories, The Shadowlands.
"The Shadowlands is a cold and barren place ruled by the ShadowLord. For many years, we've been under the ShadowLord's rule. If anybody spoke or even stepped out of line, they would be killed. No one has ever seen the ShadowLord, but we all live in fear. But you can change that! you can become our new ruler and defeat the ShadowLord!"
Symi followed the creature's finger and found it pointed to an area a few miles ahead. She squinted her eyes and saw a dark place, filled with outlines of broken buildings.
"So will you do it?" asked another voice in the crowd of onlookers.
Symi anxiously agreed, wanting to do anything in her power to help rebuild the poor civilation presented in front of her. Soon after becoming queen, the creatures renamed the land to Symica, in honor of the savior. The creatures were no longer gray and boring. They're sadness and despair had now turned into happiness. Everything was colorful and the land seemed at peace. Symi occasionally went back to Earth to visit her mother, but as time went on, her visits soon began to shorten. One day, she went to go visit, and found her mother was not there. Shortly after, she learned that her mother had passed away in a car crash. Symi chose not to abandon her people and spent the rest of her days in Symica. Later on in her life, she met a tribe known as Breckuns, whom seemed to be the only living things in the land to resemble humans. They had similiar features to the people back on Earth. One member in the tribe caught her attention especially, Kealu. He eventually became king of the kingdom and they had three children. They all happened to be girls. She named the oldest Mimi, and the youngest turned out to be twins named, Bugz and Anna. She was pregnant with her fourth child, when Symica was attacked. Thus igniting the war between Symica and the Shadowlands. Many innocent lives were lost, including the king's. Symi was pregnant with her fourth child, when the kingdom was ramsacked. The intruders were a species of creatures known as, Darklins. Their leader was, Sedeer, the ShadowLord's number one apprentice. The group first snuck into the babies room and pierced one straight through the heart with a dagger. They then appeared in the queen's room and slowly crept up to her bed. Sedeer, hovering over her bed, took out the same dagger he had recently used and stabbed the queen. Before he had a chance to stab her again, guards ran in and the Darklins jumped out the window. Immediately the queen was rushed to the kingdom's doctor, but he announced it was too late. Although the queen had died, they managed to get the baby out of her stomach. The king and queen's chosen knight, Emphus, was appointed the duty of the babies. He decided to name the newborn, Juliet, because he had always heard the king talking about how much he loved that name. Returning to the castle to obtain the other babies, he had found one dead in the crib, Anna. Baby Anna and the queen were buried in a grave together underneath the castle's garden. Emphus declared he was gonna hide the babies away forever, so he took them back to Earth and placed them in an orphanage and purchased a house for them to inherit once the eldest child turned 13. He also managed to hide the rose, in hopes the girl's would never find it. As for the creatures of Symica, they anxiously waited for a new ruler to return...
