Harry Potter X Reader || Snow day!

This is after the movies and after the war. and the pitcher has nothing to do with it, just thought it was funny

Its Christmas and our children are home for the holidays from Hogwarts. Me and Harry, my husband, were sleeping. Untill our children bust down the door and shook us away. I swear, during this time, they act like 4-year-olds. "Wake up!" They all screamed in unison. We both sighed and got up, I got on my bathrobe and we walked downstairs. 

Albus, James, and Lilly ran to the tree and sat near it and started to unwrap there presents. I heard a knock on the door and opened it, there stood Ron, Hermione, and their children. Rose ran in and so did Hugo. I looked at them confused. "We thought that we would surprise you guys."

"A very big surprise indeed, we just woke up. Come in, come in." I said stepping to the side letting them both in. I huged Hermione. "How have you been?" I asked her.

"Great, and I see you both are doing well." I just nodded as I took her cout and hug it up. "We just wanted to say hi, and catch up a bit." I smile at her and she smiles back. Before I could say anything, Lily ran up to me and looked me dead in the eye with the most serious look ever. 

"Can we go outside." She asked. I looked back at her with the same look

"Yes." She smiled and ran around and almost ran outside untill I stopped her. "Get your boots and cout on first, silly." Lily and the other kids (Besides Ron and Hermione's) ran upstairs and got their winter clothes on and so did you and Harry. When you all came back down and went outside, you all decided to have a snowball fight. Girls vs Guys. Us girls ran over to one side of our yard and started to build a small snow base to hid behind and the guys did too, All of a sudden, I got hit in the arm with a snowball. I look over to see Harry smiling like a devil. I made a snowball and threw it at him and hit him in the chest. I laughed and ducked behind the base before a snowball could hit me, but as the snowball passes it starts to curve and it comes back twords me and hits me in the face. "Wha- that was tampered with!" I smile and threw another snowball but hit Ron in the face. Hermione high fived me and we laughed.

"This makes me feel like a kid again." She said

"We are always kids, what are you talking about," I said as another snowball hits me in the face. "If you throw another enchanted snowball at me were going to have a problem!" I said as I throw another snowball, hitting Harry in the face this time.

"I've been hit! Son, avenge me!" Harry said to Severus.

"I shall father!" I started to die laughing and so did Hermione, Rose, and Lily.

After a long while of just being children, we all got really cold so we all went inside and we all sat next to the lit fireplace. I got up to make everyone hot chocolate and Harry came into the kitchen with me. He snaked his hand around my waist as I made the hot chocolate and kissed my cheek. "Today was fun." He said smiling.

"Yeah, more fun I had since I've married you."

"Hey."

"I was just joking, I've had a lot of fun since I've married you," I said smiling as I handed everyone a cup of hot chocolate and I sat down, Harry sat behind me and wrapped his arm around my waist and laid his head on my shoulder. 

"Well, we have to go," Ron said standing up. "Come on kids get your coats and shoes on." Rose and Hugo sighed but got up and got their stuff on and they walked upstairs. I turned to our kids.

"Time for bed. It's already 11:06." I said standing up. The kids sighed but got up and went upstairs and we followed behind. As we went into our room, I laid in bed and Harry cuddled up next to me. "I love you, Harry," I said as I started to doze off.

"I love you too (y/n)." And with that, we both fell asleep.
