Amanda's POV
I was too busy reviewing for my finals nang hindi ko na namalayan ang oras. It was passed 8. I looked around to see if there are still students in the library, I just saw few students packing their things and getting ready to go home.
I explained while pointing the pile of papers in front of me.
She waved her hand as she went out the library, I nodded my head and smiled at her as a response. She really reminds me of my Lola.
I saw the blinding lights from the ambulance parked on the side. I don't know what's happening. All I know is I'm unreasonably nervous. I'm trembling as I walk closer to the people surrounding in front of our house.
Nang makita ko ng mga kapitbahay namin, they quickly gave way for me to see what I don't wanna believe to see.
I saw blood and that was when I recognized the truck beside her.
Tell me this is only a bad dream.
Somebody, please wake me up in this bad dream. Lord, please!
Why did this happen?
How did this happen?
Bakit siya pa?
Bakit ngayon pa?
Bakit ang Lola ko pa?
The silence from that night was crept by my loud cry and screams. Hoping that somebody will remove my aching heart. Hoping that somebody will wake me up. Hoping that somebody will wake her up, too.
