September 22, 2018How I wish that kiss was just that, a kiss. But you know how hormones are, they make you go to another level with the person you really can't stand. Why, you may be asking? Well I'm unable to answer that question right now, but Google may be able to solve your questions.
We stared at each other for a few moments, before he broke the silence. "What are you doing here, Princess?" Jamie asked, confusion written all over his face. He was the equivalent of a giant as he stood over me, taking a swig of water from his blue bottle. He was already changed in a white tee and black sweats, and he had a bandaid on the right side of his cheek, possibly from the field.
"Oh... you know, chillin-ow," I responded in a pathetic tone, continuing to rub my temples . "You don't happen to have drugs by chance, would you?"
He rose a brow and crossed his arms. "I didn't take you for the type to ask for that kind of stuff."
"I meant over the counter drugs, Asshole." My head started to pound once again, and I instantly regretted talking in the first place. I placed Talia's keys in my pocket and began to rub the other temple with my free hand.
"You really need to fix your attitude, I was just about to say that I might have some, but now I'm thinking that I don't."
I gave him a cold glare. "I am not in the mood for your bullshit, Harlow. Either you have it or you don't."
He was silent for a moment, his face no longer carrying spite but instead a concerned and serious expression. It was a look that I never saw before. He fished into his pocket and took out his keys. "I have some in my car," he answered. "I'm about to leave so why don't you just follow me."
He offered his hand to me, which I gladly took and held onto firmly. I'm certain I heard the shutter of someone's camera as we walked towards the exit. However, I could've cared less about the stares I was getting from those inside the lobby. I could only think about how secure I felt in that instant, and how comfortable he felt when I rested my head on his arm.

Once we left the gym, the cool breeze and the fresh air alleviated the pain of my headache even further.
"How are you holding up?" He asked with genuine worry. We were nearing his truck that had been started up by his controller, causing a bit of jealousy to rise up within side of me.
I gave him a thumbs up in response, and took a deep breath to take in some of the fresh air. It was so nice not to be cooped up in a confined space for once. It was also nice to be shown authentic kindness from Jamie, when I expected him to show anything but that. His acts of kindness were weighing upon my heart, making me feel a spark of guilt for snapping at him during those situations. However, those few gestures can never fix the damage brought upon our relationship. He would be nice now, then do something horrid the next. He was just that kind of person. However, I couldn't help but want to be close to him.
"Get in the car," he directed, releasing my hand from his warm grasp.
My eyes widened and I looked at him in disbelief. I had assumed he would rummage through his truck, find the drugs, and give them to me. This was on a whole other level of what I predicted. "What?" I asked, trying to figure out if I had heard him right.
