2- Something's Wrong

After the princes went to bed Rasmus called an emergency meeting, to be attended by the King and Queen alone. One Cerabie and Poseidon got to the meeting room, they saw Rasmus in a sort of prying position on the end of the table. Neither the King or Queen thought this was okay.

"Ras? What's going on? Are you okay brother?" Cerabie asked quite scared of what the answer may be.

"It is not I that you should be worrying about." Rasmus answered. The pair sat side by side ready for what they would hear. "I assume you have been too focused on Codyon's school popularity and grades to notice, am I right?"

"Notice what? Rasmus, is this a joke? If so, I'm not laughing." The king spat.

"I see. Well, since you haven't seen it, I'll say it. Joe. He hasn't been eating, he's separating himself from everyone, and has asked me multiple times to pick him and Cody up early. Joe has also been feeling ill and the teachers have informed me he has started to fall asleep in some classes, but only for a max of 10 minutes. And I too have noticed him wondering the palace late at night." He continued.

"What! Has he said why?" Cerabie had the worried mother look on her face. And soon after her sentence, Poseidon soon had the same look on his face.

"No. He insistes he is ok. But, I've seen who he has seperated himself from the most, and it's not good." He paused for a second to let his sister and brother in law take it all in. "He's separating himself from Cody!"

"WHAT!?!?" The King and Queen were in shock. Cerabie's shock turned to tears. Poseidon realised. "Cerabie? What's..."

"We never noticed." Cerabie whimpered cutting the King off. She buried he face in Poseidon's shoulders. "How am I a mother?" She cried. 

"You're A Great Mother Sis! I got use to you hiding your feelings. I learned to read your emotions. That's how I knew" Rasmus quickly stepped in. Soon the trio wer all in a group hug, comforting each other.

(In Joe's Room)

A rustle came from one corner of Joe's room and Joe, who was still awake, quickly sat up hearing it. He carefully got out of bed, the glow coming from the gold on his chest. (He didn't get changed because he was too tied.) As he walked toward the corner the rustle came from, another rustle came from behind him. He went to turn around but... something grabbed his neck from behind and started choking him. Joe couldn't breath and the attacker was now laughing at this. Before Joe passed out he saw the purple Kraken and a black with white kraken in the mirror behind him. The same guy he talked to at school. The purple kraken's last words circled in Joe's mind, 'I'll be back and you'll pay.' He meant it. Joe finally passed out, and the last thing he heard was the black and white say 'night, little rooster.'
