5- A New Friend

After staring each other down for a little, Joe snaps out of his daze. "C... can you help me? Please?" His voice was cracking, but he didn't care. He wanted to go home to his family.

"I... maybe..." The girl answered, but another female voice cut her off.

"No!." Another girl who was a little bigger than the girl he was staring at. "Not a chance."

"Please! I... I was kidnapped, and..."

"Still No! Are you deaf?" The older looking girl snapped. The smaller girl's eyes fixed on the wound on Joe's are that he was trying to cover.

"You're hurt!" She said, running towards him.

"ACE! Get away from him!" The other screamed.

"No Amber!" Ace, wasn't listening. Once only a few feet from Joe, she grabbed his arm to see the extent of the wound. "How did this happen!? This wound couldn't have been an accident." She looked up at Joe waiting for the explanation.

"I... I was in my room and someone grabbed my neck and choked me to the point I passed out. I woke up tied to a pole, and the kidnappers did, that. A managed to grab a nearby knife and cut the ropes and tape to free myself, then ran down the tunnel that brought me here." He explained. Ace was shocked. And the Amber looked on confused and, maybe, slightly worried. 

"There He Is!!!" Someone screamed. Joe recognised it. Dagger. Him and his little brother came through the tunnel and stared down the girls. "Thanks for finding our... friend. But, now he has to come home with us."

"No. Please." Joe whispered to Ace. She looked in his eyes which were starting to water, then to the cut on his arm. They were the ones who did this to him.

"Sorry, boys..." The Amber came to stand between Joe and Dagger. "But, he's ours!" She pulled out a sword that looked homemade, but still sharp nun da less. They charged at one another. Dagger swung, and missed. The Amber swung, and hit. Slicing one of his tentacles off, he streaked. Amber then ran to them grabbed both of them and ran down another tunnel. They heard KrakenKid yell at them to come back, but they kept going. A light appeared at the end of the tunnel, and they stopped. Amber released Ace and Joe then turned to him. "Well, were you from, rooster?"

"The palace." He said. The two looked at each other in total shock. "Are... you ok?"

"You're... a Prince?!" Ace screamed.

"Yes..." He said, stunned from the question.

"We were thrown out of our home by the king. The counsiler Rasmus tried to drop him, but he just pushed him away. We can't be seen with you." Amber explained.

"Joe!?" He knew that voice.

"Mum!"
