Saviour rushed into the medical ward and up to Hope's room. He walked into the open door and saw the girl on the bed beyond a wall of glass. Her cloak was removed which left her in a thin cream gown.

Her entire arm to his view, he saw dark red streaks on her skin that branched off like roots. The streaks reached all the way to the right side of her face, covering it almost entirely.

A blue electric charge like lightning suddenly ran through her body and Saviour was pulled back by 2 Angels just as it connected with one part of the wall, leaving an eerie black blossom on its surface.

"What happened? How did she become like this?" he demanded from the 2 stoic Angels.

"She had jumped off the edge of the domain, probably to forcibly expire herself but a patrol caught sight of her and they rescued her before the electric wall fried her soul completely" one of the Angels explained without a change in expression.

The domain was akin to a floating island with an electrically charged web underneath. Some souls had chosen to jump off the edge to forcibly expire themselves.

It was a miracle Hope was still in one piece.

"She what? Hope would never do that! She wouldn't have resorted to killing herself" he recalled how Hope had ended her last life but shook the possibility off. Work had been hectic and she'd become strange ever since Noam was eaten but Hope would never do this. He just knew it!

"Someone must've pushed her. Let me talk to her!" he tried to go to the glass door at one side but was held back. Angels were formidable beings with untold strength. He may be a Collector now but he was still a soul who'd once been human.

"Her body is still afflicted with the electric charge, she'll need to be quarantined for a while. She is also unconscious and won't be able to explain the situation. Once the charge dissipates, she'll face trial and receive her punishment" the 2nd Angel explained.

Saviour couldn't believe what he was hearing, "She's being punished? She's already hurt! Why the hell are you punishing her?!" he demanded angrily, his rage reaching the highest peak he'd ever known. It felt like his sight was turning red.

"Suicide is against the law"

"She didn't try to kill herself! Someone pushed her!" Saviour corrected, enraged. He didn't know the truth but he'd be damned to believe that Hope would do this to herself.

"She'll remain under our custody until the matter is cleared and due punishment is served. Please turn around and leave, your visiting time is over" one explained before he was herded out the room and the door closed, an Angel stood guard outside. One inside and one outside.

Saviour hated their cold tone and roared in anger at being kicked out of Hope's room. He threw caution to the wind and prepared to charge at the Angel to force himself back inside but Near suddenly appeared and held him back. The Angel only stared at them without emotion.

Near had run after Saviour when he told him the news, arriving much later since Collectors were given an ability for speed. "Saviour, calm down. You won't be helping Hope if you rage and throw a fit" he tried to argue with him but Saviour was not in his right mind. He desperately tried to reach for the Angel who was only a few feet away from him, wanting to punch him and beat him until his rage subsided.

"Saviour! SAVIOUR!" Near's voice boomed as he turned and shook him, "Look at me! Look at me, Saviour!"

Bloodthirsty eyes turned to Near who forced down the urge to shiver and run at the sight of them. He'd heard of souls becoming nothing more than enraged animals due to the oppressive environment of the Domain and hoped Saviour didn't become so.
