Give me a week I'll write you a list

Once Alicia goes off to her piano class I decide I should call up Jeremy. Maybe I can convince him to hang out with me.

If that fails I'll try Shiloh, and I doubt he will say no to me.

I call Jeremy's number and to my surprise he picks up.

"Um... hello?"

"Hey, love. Long time no speak" I say leaning against my door.

"Jay?"

"Who else would actually call you. Wait- that was mean. Oops." I say cringing slightly. Well done, only two sentences in and you've already insulted him.

"Why do you have my number?"

"Because I get what I want. And right now I want to go out with you sometime in the near future. Preferably today" I say with a confident tone even though I'm almost curtain he will decline.

"Uhh okay. If that's what you want"

"Wait really?" I say with genuine shock.

"If you have your mind on something I can't be bothered to change it"

"Awesome... how about you come to the amusement park with me in an hour or two" I say cheerfully.

"Are you sure that's a good idea?"

"Yes"

"I disagree"

"I know. I'll see you at the bus stop in exactly an hour. Don't keep me waiting, pretty boy" I say hanging up.

He better show up.

I take a shower and get changed before heading over to the bus stop a bit early and Jeremy is already there.

"You are a little early, Aye?" I ask and Jeremy sighs.

"It's not like I had anything else planned" Jeremy says and I raise an eyebrow.

"That's a little sad Jeremy... whatever I am glad you actually showed up" I say sitting down next to him at the bus stop.

"I wasn't sure if I would either" he mumbles and I notice the bus is coming.

"Looks like we are getting there a bit early then, I dibs the window seat" I say standing up and Jeremy sighs.

"I don't care" he says and after a long bus ride of a one sided conversation we finally get to the amusement park.

"Alright, Where to first?" I ask looking around the park with my hands on my hips and Jeremy stops beside me.

"You can pick" Jeremy says making me smile.

"Aww thanks, love. Is there anything you won't go on?" I ask curiously. I don't want to make him do anything if he is scared of hights or something.

"I don't want to do any of them" Jeremy says and I shake my head.

"Forget I asked. Alright how about-"

"Why ask me if you were just going to do what you wanted anyways?" He asks and I shrug.

"Well if you'd suggested something I would have gone with it. But I don't mind that you don't care, that just means we can do whatever I want" I say and he lets out a loud sigh.

"Maybe you should date yourself, or an inanimate object ." Jeremy says and I smirk.

"Are you saying this is a date?" I ask and he sighs again.

"No. I'm just saying that I'm sure you'd be much happier with yourself than spending time with other people." He says and I shrug.

"Maybe. But what's the fun in that? I need some conflict in my life to keep things interesting, plus I'd never be caught dead going to an amusement park alone, it's pathetic" I say and Shiloh runs up to us.
