Chapter 27 Outside the School

We paused in the front hall and were preparing our 3DM gear right before we took off. Of course, Violet finished first. Everyone else finished about five minutes later.

"Hey look." Chase jested, "Potato Girl is growing impatient."

"I threw potatoes at you one time people. One Time!" Violet yelled as she shoved the front door open.

"She threw potatoes?" Christopher asked, "When did she do that?"

"The day you and Alex fought and you left." Jackson explained.

"Come on guys." I commanded, "Let's go finish this."

We caught up with Violet and split into the previous groups we used during recon. That left Violet, Chase, Jackson, and Daniel to work in the fourth group. We sped to the four corners of the school in search of the remaining titans. My group; Mikasa, Eren, Christia, and I, found a small horde of about twenty titans and started there.

For the most part, I was slicing arms and legs, not necks. Eren transformed into his titan form and was pinning some of the titans for Mikasa to kill. I dodged and weaved as a distraction with Christia, neither of us could get at the titans' necks. Then I heard a bunch of titan roars that sounded like Eren's transformation roar.

A female titan ran by and I recognized it as Violet. She skidded to a halt and punched the air above me. Violet knocked out a titan that was coming up on my blind spot, I was so easily distracted and had to be saved.

"How did you do that?" I called.

"Just think about turning into a titan!" Violet yelled over her shoulder.

She sped off to tell the others.

I tried to concentrate on transforming. The pain was like a thousand pins sticking me all over, like when your foot goes numb and then you move it. I just turned into a titan! I was much more capable of fighting the other titans now. Why did Violet always have to be good at everything? She had to save me because of my carelessness. I used these frustrating thoughts to fuel my strength and stamina into overdrive and the process was a lot quicker as I boxed incompetent opponents.
