Chapter 3: Close Encounters

Why hello there?! Long time no see! Sorry I haven't updated in a long time, its because I kinda lost idea in finishing this chapter, and I've been doing ALOT better in school, so I've been focusing alot more on school than on the computer. But now I'm back and ready to finish up since its winter break. Anyway, in this chapter you're gonna to see alot more about Shae & Ray.

There is gonna be a dictionary box at the end of some chapters from now on, because some of you don't know certain 'slang' that I've used from my city, Baltimore.

                             Chapter 5 - Close Encounters

I walked into the lunch room and completely froze. It was packed! Like every freaking grade was in here. Why the hell they can't make separate lunch shifts? I rolled my eyes and scanned the crowd looking for either pink, blue or purple. Sadly, I didn't see either but I damn sure saw two braids. UGH! Why the fuck is he everywhere I look?!

"Hey Shae ! Shae! Over here girl!" I turned around to see Bre calling my name. Thank you lawwd! I walked over to the table and saw about a good 5 people over there. Some I've met already but others...not quite.

"Thank lawwd I saw you guys, I thought I was gonna be sitting by myself!" I exclaimed and sat next to Bahja.

"Well since you're here we should introduce you to the group, Next to Issa is Lexii, next to her is Shannary, then Talasia and Taylor." she said after pointing to them.

I gave them a wave, then gave my attention to the boy with dreads, " Didn't I see you in the hallway shooting dice with Rayon earlier?" I asked.

He froze and looked up at Bre, she narrowed her eyes at him and put her hand on her hip, "You was doing what?" she asked.

"Nothing baby, she meant when she was going to the bathroom she saw me talking to the crew and um..." He paused looking at me with plea in his eyes.

"He was talking and walking by, he wasn't involved in any of that mess!" I interrupted, hoping she didn't catch on.

Bre looked at me then back at him, "Mmhm, let me hear you doing some fishy shit again, and your ass is mine." she said putting her finger in his face.

I looked at Issa,as he looked at me. He smirked and nodded his head at me, so I'm guessing he's not mad at me.

The rest of the lunch period went by smoothly, until I got in the lunch line with Zonnique. We both walked into the lunch line and grabbed a tray, we grabbed our food and beverages and walked out. While we was walking back to the table, there was spilt milk on the floor which I didn't see, because I was busy paying attention to Rayon as we walked past him.

Tragically,I slipped and my food off my tray flew into the air. Sadly it didn't quite hit the floor, the spaghetti spilt all over Selana's hair and clothes. But luckily for me, Rayon caught me before I hit the ground. But yeah back to her, she screamed loudly and looked down at her clothes.

"WHO.DID.THIS?!" she yelled through out the whole cafeteria. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at Selena. A few gasps were heard through out the cafe.I got on my feet and stared at her, not knowing what to say or do. I looked at Nique and back to Selena then repeat. I sighed, Shit should I tell her it was me or not?
