I'm sitting alone in class waiting for my teacher and why is no one but me? I have a lot of time in the morning because of 1. I live alone, my parent is dead (car accident when I was 3) 2. I use a very small amount of makeup and 3. clothing is just whatever so I choose to come early and start doing extra credit so I'm ahead in class.

Even though I'm a nerd I still have pretty cool friends, my friends are Fangs, Kevin( he is a serpent in this story), Sweet Pea and Ali, but my besties are Sweets and Ali. We are all very close but me, Sweets and Ali are the closest
Our group is some of the most popular people in school, except me... but they love me anyway and I love them. We are all apart of the southside serpents which is the most dangerous gang in Riverdale
After 30 minutes a guy with pale skin, beautiful green eyes, and expensive clothes comes into class and walk straight up to me and says
"Hey, why is such a pretty girl all alone in class?" HA, me pretty? He must see someone else behind me. He seems a little fishy but I answer in a nervous tone" do-do-doing extra credit" a smirk appear on his face and he says "well not any more" and he smashes me against a wall and starts kissing me. I don't know why but I end up kissing back even though I don't want to, and before I know it a feel kisses go down my neck. A moan escaped my lips and I feel him smiling against my skin but then...
"Ouch!" I scream in pain and take my hand to my neck and looked at it. Blood. He bit me. I take my focus away from my hand and look at him, he has blood on the mouth and his emerald green eyes were now yellow. I think I'm going crazy "you bite me..." he smirks and says "I sure did, your one of us now"
one of us? whos us and what the hell does that mean? before I got to ask he was gone like the wind.
I run out of school and straight home, up the stairs and into the bathroom and looked at my neck. Nothing? no bitemark, no nothing. He said he bite me. Was I dreaming? I then smile like nothing had happened but OMG!
my teeth! they are all sharp. I take my finger onto one of them and press. Blood was dripping from my finger. I got fangs!?
I need to find the guy who did this to me!
next day
I wake up and feel like burning. Sunlight. I quickly run away from the direct sunlight but then it hit me. School, how am I going to school if I can't be outside. My discussion with myself ends up with me staying home and text Ali and Veronica to say I'm sick.
I close every curtain in my house and find my MacBook and try to find the guy from yesterday morning. I somehow manage to find him, his name is Toby and I quickly call him.
phone call (3POV)- Toby will be like this and Betty like this
"Hey, is this Toby?"
"In own cold blood, who is this?"
"umm, my name is Betty Cooper and-"
before she gets to say anything else he says
"You the girl from yesterday morning, right?"
"yes, and I would like for you to explain what the hell is wrong with me! I can't be in direct sunlight without burning and I got fangs!"
" You are a vampire, sweetheart"
Betty froze. She is a vampire.
"your joking, right? vampires don't exist"
"that where you wrong, sweetheart"
"STOP CALLING ME THAT"
Betty normally never yell or get angry but she feels like her feelings are strengthen
"Okay, chill... meet me at the Whyte Wyrm at 10. I will explain everything"
end of call
Betty POV
I drive up to the Wyrm and whispers "thank god its dark" while walking in and sees my friends(they always hang out there because its the serpents headquarters). I haven't texted them saying that I'm coming because I wasn't there for them. I say hey and walk over to Toby. My friends look at me weird and Sweet Pea grab my wrist but I give him a look saying it's okay and he let go. I also see Ali looking a bit worried but give her a nod and continues to walk over to Toby.
"I didn't know you were friends with those guys" he says while looking at Sweets who is giving him the death stare.
"I am and is that a problem?" I ask quietly and a little worried because he is a vampire. Like me...
"No, No not at all" he smirks and starts explaining everything.
he says that he has looked at me for a while and find he "worthy" to be apart of his vampire group, who apparently are around 8 people. The way I felt earlier were normal because apparently when you are a vampire your feelings get strengthen, you also need to drink blood so they steal from the hospital and only feed on humans when is very necessary. He also told me that I will get a necklace that makes me able to walk in sunlight. Ohh and did I forget, your eye color also changes from no matter what color to yellow when you feed blood. But the most important thing he told me was that you need to be able to control yourself from feeding and killing when you are around others.
While we talk some guys and a girl over to us, I look confused at them but they hiss at me with their teeth to show that their one of us. Sweets and the other couldn't see it because they were facing the other way.
I start to feel hungry but not like the ursal hungry. Hunger for blood. I look at her friends and feels even more hungry. "No, they are your friends. Not your food" I think to myself. My new vampire friends notice and take out a bottle of something red which I assume is blood. Just the thought of it make me both disgust and hungry. I take the bottle and empty it but I want more. "more. I need more" I say to Toby with hunger in my eyes.
"we have to go shopping for some new clothes for you. Some more dark and badass" the one girl says to me
I nod with a smirk
that was the start of it all but I couldn't tell anyone not even Sweets and Ali. The nerd from southside high was dead and now was the new badass vampire betty born.
