Jughead POV

as I stand on the stage I take a second to think this though, but I must do this now.

Betty is going to kill me when she wakes. Like with her teeth kill me...

and then I say "I killed John"

it's like the whole world stops and people just stand there. I'm sorry but can't people chill, I know I killed one of them but he's dead, move on.

everyone either gasps or give a look that could kill.

Fangs look at me disappointed and go up to me. First, he just stands there looking at me and then he punches me to the ground.

I know I'm stronger than him but I do deserve this so I let him. I'm used to the pain but its nothing like my parents. This compared to my parent is nothing.

he grabs me so I stand.

"Is this why you joined? so we couldn't kill you?" he says in disappointment

"Partly," I say looking at him.

"Jones... we may not be allowed to kill but you will not just go unpunished around this"

"sure but I want to explain myself" he gives me a nod in response.

"To join the poisons you must kill someone they choose. They choose this guy, John, I didn't know he was a serpent, I just wanted a family and I had no choice" I keep my calm through the whole explanation.

"that's fine and all, but Jughead you betrayed us. We are supposed your family, you will still have your punishment, dick" I know he's mad, it was for a fact one of his members.

"JUGHEAD FUCKING JONES!" an angry voice that I know very well sounds from above.

Betty comes rushing down and slaps me.

"I guess I deserved that," I say rubbing my hand over my cheek

"You sure did" she screams and is about to continue but she notices that everyone is looking at us. Most have angry looks on their faces towards me but some smirks because she slapped me.

"what the hell did you do?" she half-whispers

"I told them"

Her eyes widen

"no, no, Jug" she puts her hand on my chest with a worried face.

Fangs notice and look at us confused

"Betts, did you have something to do with this?" He asks.
Before she could answer, I answer for her "No, she did not"
"I think she can answer for herself" he steps closer to me.

FUCK I don't know if I can keep my calm.
"Boys stop. Fangs we talk later"
She's mad. Really mad.

She turns to me again.
"You're a fucking stupid asshole" I expect her to slap me again but instead she hugs me and kisses my cheek.

"Sorry Jones but I have your punishment" he looks at Betty.

"No, relationship with her. No, contact with any of us. No, anything, until you help me with an enemy of ours," he says smirking maliciously

"Wait, Fangs. No. He will die if he does that" Betty says

"Either that or we kick him out and kill him"

"Your a fucking dick" Betty says going closer to Fangs.

"I do it" I interrupt to stop her from going closer to him
