Winglets:Wasteland

Whiteout landed beside Arctic in a very strange place to Whiteout.The walls were an odd light blue colour and reflected things like a mirror.Arctic stared at a strange dragon sitting on a throne made of the same material.She looked a lot like Arctic,but with glittery,dark blue eyes that glared angrily at Arctic."So,you listened to Mother?"The strange Icewing smoothly talked to Arctic as she kept glaring at him."Well,I brought her,"Arctic said back in a rushed,angry tone.Now,that Whiteout looked closer,the dragon had sparkling gems embedded in her scales.The dragon glared at her,showing her teeth which also had gems where the teeth should have been.Why did Arctic bring her all this way for and who was Mother?" She looks like such an obvious hybrid,"The dragon said as she glared back at Arctic again."Mother probably has something to fix her,"She said as she sat back regally on her throne again."Thaw is waiting for her at The Moon Globe tree,"The dragon said.Arctic turned from looking at the odd dragon and looked at her."Whiteout,follow me,"He said hurriedly in his usual angry tone as he lifted off from the weird material on the ground.Whiteout suddenly did what he said and followed him as he flew out of the strange building.Why am I listening to him without a second thought?I looked at the ground below me and saw stone pathways heading towards lots of buildings."Where are we Father?"I asked as I observed the dragons below me,similar to the dragon on the throne."Shut up and be quiet,"Arctic snapped as he flew faster.I closed my mouth.He landed in front of a tree with glowing circles on it's branches like one of the moons.I landed beside him,gazing at the many moons on the tree."You can speak now,but don't ask any questions about where we are,"Arctic hissed as he walked towards a dragon staring at one of the moons.The dragon had shiny white scales,but each single scale slowly faded into a light,frosty blue.The horns on his head were just fully light blue with pale light blue eyes.The dragon was staring at a certain moon on the tree.The dragon turned around,staring confusedly at Whiteout.The dragon was wearing a necklace with a silver circle on it,the same as the other dragon.What does this circle mean?Is it some kind of fashion trend?The dragon smiled at her and turned to Arctic."Is this Whiteout?"He asked in a nice,friendly voice."Who else would it be?"Arctic spat back,before quickly flying away back to the giant building."Um,hi,I'm Thaw!"He smiled at her.Whiteout looked at him confusedly."Um,I'm Whiteout,"Whiteout said back."This tree is amazing is it not?"Thaw happily said as Whiteout turned back to the tree."Why is the moons from the sky on the tree?"Whiteout asked,very confused.Thaw laughed and looked at her."You really know nothing about Icewings do you?"Thaw laughed."These are spheres of light made to look like the moons,"He explained quite happily as Whiteout listened,interested."It was enchanted by Princess Frostbite,one of the animus dragons we had,"Thaw told her."You have multiple animus dragons?"Whiteout asked,taking all this information in slowly."Of course we do,we have a whole royal family of them,"Thaw smiled as I felt a tap on my shoulder.I yelped,running straight into the Moon Globe tree."Whiteout!"Thaw yelled,running over to me.I turned around,a bit dizzy,seeing the strange dragon on the throne.She frowned at me."Can you at least not act like a newborn dragonet?"She growled,glaring at Whiteout.Thaw awkwardly smiled at the dragon."I came to tell you need to come with me,"She rolled her eyes as she lifted off."Of course your Majesty!"Thaw said happily as he helped her up.The trio started flying towards the buildings.The buildings below Whiteout were made of the same shiny material and had crowds of dragons coming in and out of them."That's Aurae,the most popular city in the Kingdom,"Thaw pointed out to Whiteout as we kept flying across it.The shiny dragon landed on a large stage with carvings of diamonds and Icewings."Foeslayer,"The shiny dragon muttered,rolling her eyes,as we landed.

A flash of white filled the skies as seemily every Icewing in the Kingdom flew in front of the stage,complaining loudly."I thought she promised not to use this!"A Icewing complained,glaring at the shiny dragon."Already,just shut up everyone!"The dragon who summoned the tribe."That's Queen Snowfox,"Thaw whispered to me as we stood beside her.Snowfox stared at the crowd."Today,we have captured a dragon who is related to an animus and will restore our power!"Snowfox announced as the crowd cheered."And in tow days,they will have their wedding and have dragonets!"Snowfox smiled for the first time since they first met.Thaw turned to Whiteout,akwardly smiling at her."I guess I forget about the whole marriage thing,"Thaw smiled,staring at the happy crowd.
