Loki sighed as he paced back and forth, After being told he was going to marry, the week seemed to fly by. Now he was meeting the man he was meant to marry. Today. "Father, please can I know a little bit more about him? a name is hardly enough to go on..." Loki asked looking up at his father and frowning.

"Yes I suppose you do have a point there son." Laufey responded looking down at his youngest son. "What exactly do you wish to know?" He asked. Loki just shrugged. "Could I know the basics? Like what he does? How old he is? all those kind of things." Loki questioned. Laufey smiled at his sons sudden interest; he seemed so against the idea before.

Maybe, this could work out after all?

"well from what I've been told, he was a soldier, but unfortunately after an accident he was captured by the opposing side and used as a weapon." Laufey answered. Loki gasped in shock and quickly covered his mouth. A tiny "That's horrible!" escaped his lips and Loki's harsh gaze became one of concern.

"So he... He's ok now?" loki asked nervously Laufey nodded and loki gave a sigh of relief. Laufey gave a weak smile. "Loki... I know this was a tough descion and i know you probably feel like I'm forcing you to do this... But I'm glad you said yes." Laufey stated. Loki smiled. "Father... Now i know a bit more about him I think it's going to be ok." Laufey's smile grew and Loki couldn't help but smile to. "Do you remember his name?" The king asked. Loki nodded in response. "Bucky... Bucky Barnes."

Loki watched as Bucky walked into the throne room. A quick glance at his father and a nod allowed Bucky to walk closer. Loki stayed where he was and gave Bucky a small smile. "Hello Bucky." The king stated. Bucky returned the smile and bowed in respect, making loki blush.

Laufey watched the two interact and smiled. "Loki why dont you show Bucky around? you can get to know each other a bit better as well." Laufey offered. Loki nodded and looked at the door before looking at Bucky. "Uh. Follow me." Loki said softly. Bucky nodded and they both walked out the throne room. Once they where more than a few feet away from the door to the throne room, Loki turned to face Bucky. "I don't mean to be rude... But your arm. why is it-" Bucky cut him off before he could finish.

"Why is it made of metal?" Bucky finished for him. Loki nodded and Bucky smiled in return. "Did your father must tell you what happened?" Bucky asked. Loki looked at the arm again. "He only told me that you were in the war and the bad guys got you..." Replied Loki. Bucky nodded. "I was alive in the 1940s and I served in the army with my best friend. But during a mission I fell of a train and the enemy got me. They did this to me."

Loki couldn't bare to keep looking at the arm so he faced Bucky again. "Why would they do that?" Loki asked horrified. Bucky just smiled sheepishly and shrugged making Loki blush again. what was it with that smile? it was al- Loki's thoughts cut off when he heard a clicking noise. He looked at Bucky who just gestured to his arm. "That's the joints. They do that a lot. Keeps the arm working. though its a pain to fix when they break." Bucky explained.

Loki watched the arm curiously, the joints moving every so often. "Doesn't it hurt?" Loki asked, a puzzled look on his face. He looked back up and tilted his head. "Nah. Well it used to but not anymore." Bucky said, smiling. He held out his arm and Loki reached out, running his finger along the gaps in the joints. "You get used to it after about 70 years." Bucky stated.

"70? But I thought you humans died at certain ages?" Loki asked, confused. Bucky smiled and loki stepped back. "Yeah we do But i was frozen multiple times when I was being used as a weapon." Bucky answered. Loki frowned and looked away. "Right uh Maybe we should just, you know.. have that tour?" Loki said, changing the subject. "Ok then cutie." Bucky replied smiling. "w-what!?" Loki cried out in shock
