Unpopular PokéPinion: Absolute BEST!?

SO! I decided to do a fun nerdy experiment/ open a debate on one of my favorite topics of conversation: POKÉMON!!!
Every couple weeks I'll be posting a discussion on all my Social Media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, SnapChat, and Wattpad) just to see what other people think about the question or topic. Debates will cover easy topics like favorite Pokémon or Type, as well as the heavy ones: character shipping..!
After the 2 weeks are up and the open debate is closed I will compile together everybody's responses and my own into a sort of analysis paper. This was an idea all for fun, just because I was bored and curioys (like I don't already have all my time filled with things to do... lol).

So here's the 1st of my "Unpopular PokéPinions!"

Out of all 800+ Pokémon out there, _EEVEE_ is the absolute BEST!!!!!

The rules for this discussion: People could only choose non-legendary Pokémon! I wanted to discuss WHY people had chosen that particular Pokémon as "the absolute best"- was it for their Type? Its Stats?? Or just because it was cool??

Abel Rivas: "Mudkip is the best Cause you know hes mudkip"
-Me: "Of the Gen3 Starters, Mudkip's my favorite, though I'm not a big fan of Swampert's MegaEvolution..."
-Abel "yeah he missed leg day"

Carlos Rodriguez-Diaz: "Arcanine, because of her lore, fairly big move pool, stats, and just being a giant majestic and beautiful dog"
-Me: "I love how (Nemu) basically texted me the EXACT same answer...! Lol"

Carolyn Castillo: "Nah lol"
-Me: "You can leave now"

Hunter Lehocky: "Arbok! I remeber having Pokemon Soul Silver and realized I always chose the same team and never really deviated from the optimized path. So I decided that from then on, I'd always have my main pokemon be someone most people ignore. Arbok was the first! It makes the game more varied and fun imo as well."
-Me: "I still do that in my games and have to make a conscious decision to vary from the usual team-ups. That's an interesting choice, though!"

Payne Peters: "Squirtle is my favorite just because he's cute!!"

Frank Voisant: "I agree with that to a point. Are you saying the best all around or the best "normal" type? If normal type yes because of the sheer variety of moves. My personal favorite will always be Dragonite."
-Me: "Best overALLLLLL Pokémanz! In my opinion"

Matthew Rios: "The best as for multiple evolutions but strongest best def not. Everyone knows the strongest Pokémon is Caterpie"

Kassie Padilla: "If you still want my pokemon answer. I have two favorites. Pikachu will always be my true number one and not just because it's a popular Pokémon! I loved Pikachu since the 90s! I like the determination that Ash's Pikachu has. I love the faith he has in his trainer throughout the series and I love how he's kinda the mom of the other Pokémon. Not to mention his electric personality! My other top Pokémon is actually Espeon. When I was little we used to play Pokémon at recess. And not the video games. We used to run around the playground pretending to be actual Pokémon. I was always Espeon. It probably has something to do with the fact that my first Pokémon game was Crystal and that version will probably always be my favorite. I think I like that Espeon is a psychic type Pokémon. There is just something alluring about psychic types that I love. I also love that Espeon is associated with the morning and I'm a super morning person so I feel we go hand in hand!"
-Me "I think almost every Pokémon fan can say that their 1st favorite was definitely Pikachu, but the fact that after all this time it's still one of yours is awesome. And he is totally the mom! Lol
