"Oh don't cry, I'm sure he'll be here Mija" Angelina assured while curling her hair
It was the day of the baby shower and Nasir's lawyer had gotten him off but it was still a 50/50 chance he'd catch a flight and be there in time.
She continued dapping her eye with a tissue so she wouldn't mess up her make up.
"Aww pooh" Milian said
"If he doesn't make it I'll beat him okay" Victoria said making them laugh
"All done" Angelina said loosening up the wand curls a bit they helped her stand up and fixed her dress
"You look so gorgeous, smile" Angelina said pulling out her phone
Dion had on an off the shoulder gold mermaid dress that hugged her figure with a slit on the side and a small train on the back she wore a gold crown on her wand curled hair and some white heels on.
Dion wanted to cry walking down to the large hotel ballroom they rented but she decided to keep a small grin on her face
"I guess I'm going to be walking in alone" she said sighing
"And you look cute while doin it" Milian said
They entered through a different door so Dion would be walking in near the white and gold thrones in front while everyone sat at the various tables
"Ok everyone" Milian said into the microphone getting everyone quiet
"Dion does not know that Nasir is here and will not know until she walks in" Milian said looking over at him
Dion couldn't hear that well because the doors were closed but knew when she was supposed to come in
"Everyone welcome Dion!" She yelled
Dion walked in holding her dress up so she wouldn't trip and when she looked up at Nasir she almost cried she hugged him putting her head on his chest
Everyone looked at them and awed
"I thought you weren't coming" she said as he wiped underneath her eyes
"Wouldn't miss it" he said kissing her
She looked over at Milian and mouthed "you knew" she said
She nodded laughing
"I was really sad" Dion said punching his chest softly
"I know " he said as they held hands walking around to greet everyone
"Dion you look so pretty" Nasir's grandma said in her thick outfit
"Gracias" She said since Selena knew little English and worked so hard to just learn the sentence she'd said
"Congrats bro" Deshon said coming up behind them
"Appreciate it" he said
"My baby Dion" Her grandmother said hugging her
"Hi Nana"
"You look beautiful and you look handsome as well Nasir, take care of my granddaughter" she said as he nodded
"I tried to get your parents to come but they refused"
"It's okay Nana I have a lot of people here for me" Dion said looking around
"Yes I see well I won't hold you up" Eleanor said walking away
"We are about to start games everyone so please pick your teams of 5 and have a seat at a table with your teams" Milian said through the microphone
