Dion was currently at her parents home since her relatives had come out to see them.
"Any boys?" Her aunt Isla asked making Dion smirk
"Yea I know they have some fine ones here" Ivy, Isla's daughter said
"Dion doesn't have time for boys" Derek, her father answered for her causing to roll her eyes
"Anyways, I decided to take my summer classes online because I don't feel like going to school"
"Hm, not the smartest choice but I guess I'd expect that from you" Celine said
"Celine!" Dion's grandmother, Eleanor shouted
"What? It's true she's lazy, she'd rather be at home rather than going to classes" Celine stated
Dion decided to stay quiet because she was on the verge of tears and hated crying in front of her parents.
"It's her decision and I think it's smart and I support your decision Dion" Eleanor said
"E-excuse me" Dion said getting up from the table
Dion's parents expected her to be perfect and often judged her for doing things they didn't do and held their money over her head.
"Now Celine why would you do that? You know the girl is sensitive" Eleanor said
"She needs to toughen up, everyone is not going to be nice in the world" Celine said
"Yea But you're her parents" Isla stated
"It's our job to set her up for the real world" Derek said drinking a glass of water
"You don't have to be an ass doing it" Isla said
Meanwhile Dion was in her room fighting the urge to cry so she called Nasir.
"Hello" He answered
"Nasir" She said
"What's wrong baby?" He asked noticing her tone in voice
"Nothing just tired"
"You lyin, what's wrong"
"It's not fair Nasir, I can't do anything right I get judged for everything I j-just wanna go home" She said crying
"Calm down Dee you too pretty ta be cryin, you want me to pick you up?" He asked
"But it's like an hour away and It's-"
"Ian ask fa allat, I'm on the way" He said
"Ok, bye" Dion said hanging up

"Call me when you get home Dee" Ivy said

Taking a deep breath Dion got into the car and looked over at Nasir who was high.
