It'd been a month already and it was spring time Dion and MIlian were walking to there class when they got approached by some college boys but Dion nor Mlian were interested just because they were in college and they knew college boy mindsets
"Yall tryna come to our party tonight"
"No I got shit to do" Milian said walking past them
"How about you?" They asked Dion
"She got a boyfriend bye" Milian said Dion wanted to deny it but didn't want to get pestered by the boys any more
So she went with it
Once they'd gotten away from the boys Dion confronted MIlian "I don't have no boyfriend why'd you sya that"
"Girl bye you know Nasir's yo boo" she said shooing me
"He's not, We are friends and that's it"I said
"Mhmm you sure let him claim you at that party we was at last week"
"THat was because his friend was trying to get at me"
"He still claimed you though and he aint never did that before to no girl but you"
"I'm not like any other girl so" I said shrugging
ONce they'd reached class Dion sat next to Milian and opened her computer
"You finished her essay?" Mlian asked
Dion nodded "Last night"
When the teacher came in eveyone quieted down "Okay so last night I had the chance to read some of your essays and only one of you got a 100 and that is Dion" she said making Dion smile
Everyone in the class sighed except Milian who clapped they were trired of hearing Dion's name for all the accomplishments It made them resent her but Dion didn't care she was happy with what she got and Milian always supported her so that's all she needed
"Dion must be fuckin him or sum"
"Shut up Zachary, my suh do good work get off her tip" MIlian said before Dion could say anything
"Tell her to get off Mr. Marshalls" Zachary said causing Dion to turn around
"Maybe you should get on it, the semesters almost over and you still have a 49" Dion said
he rolled his eyes and shut up Dion put him on hush mode, Milian gave Dion a high five Dion usually ignored confrontational encounters but today she stood up for herself.
"You'll be doing partner projects today and i suppose you all can pick your own partner" Mr. Marshall said
Dion was happy she was sick of working with people who didn't want to do shit and wanted to work with Milian anyways

"I'm starving" Dion said on the phone with Nasir while getting her toes done with Milian
"Go eat then" he said
"Can't I'm getting my toes done right now"
"When the last time you ate"
"Before class, I had a burrito and that's it"

"Ok, I don't know what color to get" she said looking down at the Chinese woman massaging her feet
"Get somethin light"
"Hmm Ok" she said she decided on a light pink for her toes and coffin shaped nails
Milian rolled her eyes "Um you said we gone be together no interruptions" she said
