"Okay, wait, so you two actually know of each other?" Michael asked after Luke and I finished shaking hands. Luke nodded. "As of yesterday, yeah. I killed her store's cookies."

"Wow, you're amazing," Michael faked astonishment. "It takes a lot to kill cookies."

"I felt really bad," Luke admitted, rubbing the back of his neck. I guess that was just a nervous habit of his. It was kinda cute, though.

"Does this mean I can call the cops on Luke now? I've been wanting a good reason to do it for so long, you have no idea," Michael said.

"You must be a great friend," I told Michael. He nodded in response. "I'm the greatest friend anyone could ever have."

"He's a douche, don't listen to him," Luke said.

"I never really planned to listen to him from the start, he's got reversed skunk hair, that told me enough," I smiled innocently.

"Wow, okay, I see how it is," Michael pouted. "Ashton, your cousin's an asshole, I don't like her!"

"You both are assholes, you'd be the perfect couple," Ashton responded. He had his arms wrapped around the blonde girl's waist, and his chin rested on the top of her head. I fought every fiber in my body not to squeal from the amount of adorable radiating off of them.

Then, my mind went to the words Ashton used as of three seconds ago. The perfect couple? Does this mean that he's trying to set me up with Michael? Oh.

"Ashton, are you gonna introduce me to your little gal pal or are you gonna break her with your death grip of love?" I asked after a few moments.

"Oh, right," he let go of her and took her hand, leading her right up to me, his smile practically taking over his face.

"Okay, two of my four favorite ladies right here. Codie, this is Talia. Tal, this is Codie." Ashton clapped his hands together. "Friendship!"

"Is Talia short for Natalia?" I asked.

"No, actually. I'm just Talia," she answered with a smile.

"Ah," was all I could respond with. I'm gonna be honest--I was scared of her; she was so pretty. She was someone you'd see on the front of a magazine. I instantly became insecure. I bet I looked just wonderful standing next to her.

I glanced over at Ashton who's eyes were fixed on Talia. He bit his bottom lip before turning to chat with Calum and his girlfriend. God, he's so whipped.

"God, he's so whipped," I repeated my thoughts out loud.

"What?" Talia questioned, seeming to be confused at what just came out of my mouth.

"He's in so deep, I've never seen him act this way around anyone before," I said. Talia blushed and looked back at Ashton. "Oh," she smiled.

Ashton appeared back at her side in a matter of seconds. "So, did ya get familiar with each other? Good? Okay. Coooodie?" he wiggled his eyebrows at me in the "I'm-Gonna-Get-You-With-A-Boy" manner. I narrowed my eyes. "Ashton," I protested.

"I want you to just give him a try," he lowered his voice like he didn't want any of the other boys listening to what he was talking about.

"Ashton, I don't wanna," I protested again.

"Codie."

"Ashton."

"Codie."

"Ashton."

"Let him use his matchmaking skills," Talia giggled.

"I'll end up dating a flamingo if I let that happen," I retorted.
