Sesshomaru POV
How dare she declare lies so boldly at my presence. The wrench, absolutely ridiculous.
I growled in frustration causing Jaken to look up at me.
"Milord, what seemed to bother you?"
His question was left unanswered as we kept walking through the woods.
"Milord, forgive me for intruding your thoughts but, are you thinking about Lady Sakura?"
I stopped in my tracks, causing the small imp to bump into my calves.
I gave him a cold, harsh glare. The imp gulped nervously.
"Jaken"
He started to quivered underneath me.
"Another word about her, I will tear your tongue out of your mouth."
The said imp started to frantically bow for forgiveness, pleading and wailing with his raspy voice.
"Please forgive me Lord Sesshomaru!! I didn't mean anything thing that can trigger any disturbing memories of her!!" He fearfully screeched.
Rin slowly stirred in her sleep, she mumbled something and rolled over, falling unconscious once more.
I sent Jaken a warning glare, in response, he only nodded his head. After a few minutes of traveling, I decided that we would call it a night.
The two headed dragon slowly lowered himself down, making absolute caution not to wake the child that slept soundly on the saddle.
I leaned against a large oak tree, relaxing my shoulders and inhaling the scent of the forest. Letting the soft chirping of the crickets perform a Melody in the night.
I closed my eyes and exhale deeply, trying to forget all the things that happened today and let the relaxing darkness take over my field of vision.
In a matter of minutes, I fell asleep.
-LE TIME SKIP TO THE MORNING
My eyes fluttered open as the morning dawn awakened me from my slumber. Drifting my eyes at the hill tops in the distance, I admired the sun rise.
I stood up slowly and stretched my muscles. I looked over to the imp that snored loudly beside the sleeping two headed dragon.
"Jaken"
The imp stirred and opened his eyes, yawning right after. He wiped the remaining grogginess from his eyes and slowly stood up, stretching his small arms and walking to the young, sleeping child.
Soon after Rin awoke, our group began another journey.
Who knew this journey can become my destiny?
